The next Shovel Knight spinoff is a rogue-like platformer where you vertically traverse a giant cave. You have to challenge the Hexcavator knights, each one in their own domain, so their is a good amount of visual variety, as well as different level gimmicks and mechanics and of course a bunch of different enemies to keep the gameplay fresh. But be prepared to die a lot and start over from the very beginning each and every time.
