Yesterday I learned a critically important lesson about tables. How could I wake this earth for a most 40 years without realising this?! ? ? #ideas #philosophy #productivity #order #homestyle

I am proud to announce my new position as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Umeå University. I love education, especially E-learning, and that’s why I consider this as one of the most significant milestones in my life.
To get approved as an associate professor is difficult. I started the application process in the middle of March 2019, wrote for about an hour every day in the morning before work, and submitted my application – 144 pages in total (!) – in late May last year. Then there is quite the review process to get approved both internally and externally. It took an additional ten months to get the green light, but now I have finally passed the eye of the needle. So why is the recruitment process so thorough? It's because every coin has three sides: Heads, tails and the edge. To become an associate professor, you must be able stand on the edge of the coin and look at both sides at once. By writing essays on pedagogy, leadership and science, articulating different points of view and then taking a stand where you are on the spectrum, you can prove that you are committed to truth and not an ideologue.
My dream is to provide free education to anyone, anywhere. Today I took a giant leap towards realizing that dream. Our team at Acouwood and Umeå University will create great things together very soon. With these wonderful news I wish you all a happy easter holiday!
