Journos ATTACK Warhammer 40K Fans! Henry Cavill FURIOUS at Amazon?
Journalist have pivoted from their losing battle with Gamer Gate 2.0 to wage war against an even more dedicated fandom with Warhammer 40K. Attacking the fans is never a winning strategy, especially with a fanbase as dedicated as this one, but it's even worse when you are staking your claim on such shaky ground.
The decision to retcon history and infuse modern day-ism into the well established lore had to be made by someone. What prompted this decision? One expert believes that the call was made by a company who had recently put a lot of stake in the Games Workshop property and need to fill certain quotas. Amazon wanted a small reference for diversity reason to make their upcoming, Henry Cavill led series. But nothing activists ever do is subtle, so now we are here. Tough to know if it's true, but it's a big development if it is.

Star Wars has outdone themselves with Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. The director for the upcoming Rey movie is a vocal misandrist and aggressive feminist, but why be redundant. Sharmeen has interesting connections that she has leveraged to get to where she currently is, but she also has some interesting clips currently in circulation.
Her rewriting of history to discount all the important women of the franchise is hilarious enough and so is the "make men uncomfortable" clip, but the World Economic Forum related fare is far more elucidating.
Obaid-Chinoy is very much a product of her environment; and that environment is toxic.

Sony and Microsoft are vying for the title of most anti-consumer gaming company in the world right now. Sony trying to make their PSN Accounts happen on PC is causing the Ghost of Tsushima Steam release to be banned in nearly 200 countries. If they keep up this behavior, future PlayStation releases might have a tough time getting access to the largest PC gaming store online.
Microsoft is closing studios left and right. Tango Gameworks, one of the casualties of the recent closures, would perfectly fit the bill of what major players in the biz are looking for. Xbox Games Studio Boss Matt Booty says they are looking for studios to create "smaller games that give us prestige and awards." This idiotic statement was delivered the same day they closed down the Hi-Fi Rush developer.
These two companies are heating up the Console Wars once again. Not by putting out quality products, but competing to see who is worse for the industry over all.

FINA, the organizing body of College Swimming just updated their rules to make it so athletes who have undergone puberty as a male, over the age of 14, cannot compete in the ladies division. If a woman wants to compete with men though, there is nothing preventing them, always need some good jobbers. Instead, there will be a freak show category which will be far more entertaining than Women's sports anyways.
