182.5 Kgs Deadlift Heavy Single. Bit of an off day.
By the time I got to this set, my energy kind of petered out. I think mostly due to starting the session later than usual, and the rest between my previous set and this one being a bit too long. The weight moved alright, just slower than I would have wanted. Room for improvement!
Man, I was not feeling strong at all today. Ques felt off, unracking game was really off, etc. However, my MIND wanted to excel. Despite everything, having 110 percent confidence makes all of the difference. The hardest part was just unracking the bar, but the rep itself went just fine. I just realized that you can't quite see all of the weight on the bar, particularly the 2.5 Kg plate at the end. That is unfortunate. I AIN'T NO LIAR, THOUGH. 120 Kgs MINIMUM is coming this year ??.

While the 160 Kgs Triple felt a bit heavy, these back-off sets felt like cake.

I'm finally on vacation. Slayed the drums at my big show, last night. I'm tired, sleep deprived hungover, and I'm still sick. But you know what? I'm feeling DRIVEN, and positive. It's time to get back on course. We've got goals to crush ??

Squats are also starting off strong, this block! I think I still have room to improve, in terms of performance; and energy and strength felt a bit low going in to this. Overall however, I am feeling pretty good about the skwats. 170 kgs is also feeling like no big deal, now. I remember not too long ago when getting to 170 x 5 was a big goal for me. Here, I felt like I could have hit it for 10 or so reps. Just got to stick to the plan, keep recovery in check, and the gains will come ??.

I was not expecting I would be able to hit this today; as I was feeling weaker and moving slower with my warm-ups. However, my single of 145 Kgs right before this ended up feeling pretty good, so I decided to push myself for a PR. Last block, I got up to 157.5 Kgs for 3 reps, so hitting 160 for 5 (I was supposed to do 4, but I was so caught in the moment, and did the reps so quick, that I wasn't 100 % sure I had hit 4. So I did an extra, just in case, haha) and having some reps still left in the tank is pretty good progress! ??

The transition to a slightly wider grip seems to be helping! My previous best was 115 Kgs x 2, and that was a little while back, before I cut my weight down. So to surpass that, while also still being significantly lighter is huge! I'm very excited to keep pushing ??
