Ben Burgis discusses the history of New Atheism with friend-of-show Djene Bajalan and Producer Jake. Djene uses an analogy about music sure to infuriating gate-keeping weirdos who care deeply about not referring to pop punk as "emo," Ben talks about how the culture war has changed since the Bush era, and a good time is had by all.

Ben Burgis is joined by podcast host and writer Jason Myles along with producer Forrest Miller in the segment, as they screen a small portion of a film from the Chicago Film Archives showing discussion between members of the Young Patriots group in the mid 1960s along with a community meeting in Chicago addressing gentrification in white neighborhoods during which a Black Panther asked if they’d be willing to organize alongside the Black Panthers, as their economic and social goals were largely in sync.

Ben Burgis welcomes David Griscom of Left Reckoning onto the show and decides to torture him by forcing him to watch PragerU videos. The subject of today’s video: Ronald Reagan, the Cold War, and communism. Apparently, Reagan ended the Cold War with zero violence! Reaganomics pretty much saved the day! Then the Berlin Wall came crashing down in one fell swoop under Reagan. (Note: None of this is true.)
Dennis Prager, a conservative talk show host, did not found a university. He did not found an online learning institution of any kind. He just created a company that makes five-minute animated videos about economics, social issues, and politics that all have one thing in common: They are ridiculous propaganda. They are full of inaccuracies and are very frequently heinously offensive.

Matt McManus is the author of a new book "The Political Right and Equality: Turning Back the Tide of Egalitarian Modernity." He and Ben discuss how the book charts the evolution of modern conservative thought, which has positioned itself as eminently reasonable while rejecting the central tenets of political egalitarianism.
