LMPD Police Officer Arrested For REVENGE Text Message
LMPD officer arrested, accused of sending 'revenge text' to 19 people.
A Louisville Metro Police officer is accused of sending a photo of a woman to more than a dozen people without her consent.

Officer Harry Seeders, 32, was arrested Monday and charged with one count of distribution of explicit material without consent.

According to court documents, Seeders sent an "image of the victim's exposed breasts to 19 people in a group text message without the victim's consent."

Some of the people in the group text were friends or acquaintances of the victim, according to the police report.

Seeders was charged under the so-called Kentucky "revenge porn" law that went into effect in 2018. A first offense is a misdemeanor. Subsequent offenses are felonies.

Attorney Steve Schroering, who represents Seeders, said he was on administrative leave from a previous domestic violence incident but remains on the force.

An LMPD spokesperson said "Seeders was placed on administrative leave yesterday due to pending criminal charges."

Court records show Seeders was released on a $10,000 surety bond.

A Kentucky police officer has filed a lawsuit against Breonna Taylor’s boyfriend. In the lawsuit, Louisville Metro Police Sergeant Jonathan Mattingly claimed he was shot in the thigh by Taylor’s boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, during the police search in Taylor’s home. He alleges that the shot was “outrageous, intolerable and offends all accepted standards of decency or morality.” The lawsuit accuses Walker of battery, assault and emotional distress.
