During the beginning of the 20th century, America experienced a social revolution that drastically altered everyone’s way of living. As manufacturing and farming became easier with the use of machines, more goods were available for purchase. The boom in business also led to more jobs and thus more people with money to spend on the newly manufactured goods. By the time the 1920s were underway, the positive effects of this revolution were in full effect. More people owned cars, major cities had grown and increased in population, and countless new inventions came into being to further improve daily life.
There was a general feel of positivity and happiness throughout the country, mainly fueled by the influx on money from those involved in the newly expanding businesses. There were frequent parties being held in cities such as New York and New Orleans, characterized by excess and opulence. The opulence was in part a reaction to newly imposed prohibition laws, which outlawed the sale and consumption of alcohol.

Thank you all for the support you have given me! I know this video is boring but it was simply made to get important developmental information to my viewers, such as yourself, in a timely manner. Hateful and rude comments will not be acknowledged and will be terminated. This channel represents the display of history, not politics, even though those two things heavily influence each other. Thank you all again, and stay safe!

After the fall of France in 1940, the French Republic collapsed and was replaced by Philippe Pétain's French State, Vichy France. He set up a dictatorial system and collaborated closely with France's German conquerors with the goal of undoing much of the French Revolution and returning France to its pre-revolutionary hierarchical ways.

The 442nd Regiment was composed of Japanese-American enlisted men with mostly Caucasian officers. They were a self-sufficient force, and fought in Italy, southern France, and Germany.
The Japanese–Americans who fought in the 442nd were ‘Nisei‘, or second generation citizens, born in the U.S. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, they were initially categorized as enemy aliens. This meant they were not subject to the draft.
In less than two years of combat, the unit earned more than 18,000 awards, including 9,486 Purple Hearts, 4,000 Bronze Stars and 21 Medals of Honor.
The black and white faces at the end symbolizes the details of the Soldiers, the identities that have been forgotten by many. Hopefully this video gives them more recognition.

This is my tribute video to the ARVN Soldiers that fought like hell against all odds until the very end during the Vietnam War. Most of the video footage displayed during the first half of the video was taken in Saigon in 1968.

This video displays remastered WWII footage. please read the title card at the beginning of the video. "Haunted History" is a metaphorical representation of tainted history from Germany's past. This video does not contribute politics into the representation of the imagery.
