Kelly Burke, Candidate for Mayor of Arlington, Texas, spoke with Dad Talk Today about his platform and some of his vision to lead the city of Arlington, Texas. The conversation specifically centered on the importance of the family. Why? Because strong families are essential to creating a strong society.
Among some of the things Kelly talked about were strength of the black family and how it was weakened and destroyed by LBJ's programs, which provided financial incentives to young women if they kicked fathers out of the family. He also talked about the strengthening families by taking personal responsibility and minimizing government involvement in family matters, proposing good legislation (and eliminating bad legislation) for families, and being actively involved in court watching activities to expose corrupt judges.
This interview with Kelly was one of the most enjoyable interviews that I have conducted. I hope that many people get behind Kelly and people with a similar vision and that we return power to the people.

The group had media booths on both levels, and they had numerous Chinese volunteers who were very active in trying to expose the nature and activities of the evil Chinese Communist Party. Some of the most sacrificial, patriotic, and freedom-loving people that I have met have been Chinese people who hate what the Chinese Communist Party has done to the Chinese people.

Florida Representative Matt Gaetz, known to be a conservative fireball in the US House of Representatives, talked about his adopted son Nestor, a boy from Cuba. According to Matt, of all the titles he has received and roles that he has performed, no title or role is as great as being the father of Nestor.
Matt also talked about the importance of children having BOTH parents in their lives. He is unapologetic in his belief that in the case of divorce, that 50-50 equal shared parenting should be the rebuttable presumption. It is not only in the best interest of the child; it is in the best interest of society.
Matt also is aware that some people get rich off of creating division in families and exploiting that division. Those practices need to be cleaned up as well.
Of all the interviews that Matt did at CPAC2021 in Dallas, he told us that this interview was his favorite of them all, and a very important conversation that conservatives need to be having.

On November 5, 2021, Chad Read, a father who was merely trying to pick up his son for the weekend, was maliciously and cold-bloodedly murdered in Lubbock, Texas, by his ex-wife's boyfriend and employer, Kyle Carruth. Kyle was not taken in for questioning by the Lubbock police, but remained free, as he is to this day.
In this third video, Chad's wife, Jennifer, discussed she never expected Chad to be killed for trying to pick up his son. Due to past events when Chad's ex-wife lied about or misrepresented various things to the attorney, Jennifer recorded the exchange - but she NEVER expected to video her husband's murder.
WARNING: The end of the video contains graphic video footage of the murder and Kyle's angry justification for killing Chad Read.
As a result of this injustice, a group was formed calling for #justiceforchadread.

THE FAILURE OF OUR "FAMILY" COURTS
On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, I drove from Dallas to Burnet, Texas, to watch a case in Judge Linda Bayless's court that pertained to parental alienation, interference with child custody, and related issues. Initially, Cindy was "awarded" custody of her son. Several months later, her ex-husband hired an attorney, which led to custody being flipped. From there, her ex-husband alienated their son from his mom, to the extent that he hasn't responded to her at all for over a year and a half.
I spoke with Judge Bayless for a few moments as she was leaving the building. I told her that enjoyed being in her courtroom and watching the cases that I witnessed. I thought she was very compassionate in an earlier case and that she asked good questions in a second case, but I think she absolutely ruled incorrectly - and perhaps even harshly - in this case. Part of the reason we have the constitutional right to open courts is so that we the people can observe the operation of our courts and affirm good judges, yet also be a public voice against abuse and injustice. It was in this latter case that I feel obligated to raise my voice against family court injustice and abuse.
Family courts destroy families. When we destroy families, we weaken society. It is my belief that legislation, the courts, and the legal system are set up in such a way that family destruction, alienation, and abuse result and are perpetuated.
We need to change these things.

Why would anyone oppose no-fault divorce? The reality is that in many instances, "no-fault" divorce is really unilateral divorce, forced divorce, or imposed divorce. Many times it is easy divorce without severe consequences to the one who files for divorce, yet the consequences are severe to the unwilling partner, children, and other relatives and friends.
In the vast majority of instances--upwards of 70 percent in most studies--one partner has divorce forced upon him or her, and often has his or her life cast into turmoil and hardship. Unfortunately, attorneys often encourage divorce, even when reconciliation is an option.
The Divorce Industry is a $50 billion a year industry, and family law attorneys and a host of other individuals make a LOT more money through divorce than through encouraging reconciliation. More money passes through family courts each year than through all other courts. Unfortunately, the state of Texas and EVERY state in the United States encourage this by permitting unilateral divorce.
On July 6, 2013, I wrote to Texas State Representative Matthew Krause and asked him to repeal No-Fault Divorce in Texas. He told me that he and several others were trying to pass divorce reform in Texas. I told him that he could count on my help on the issue, and that I would do what I could to repeal no-fault divorce and reform the divorce laws in Texas.
The videos that I'm doing are simply me trying to keep my word to Matt. I am not a professional at this, and there are many people who can make the argument better than I can, but I am trying to do something to make the argument why no-fault divorce--or unilateral or forced divorce--should be repealed. To me, reforming divorce is one of the biggest moral, social, and justice issues facing our state and society.

After more than 20 years, I got to meet up with Jay St John and Heidi St. John for Congress Heidi St. John in Dallas. In this speech, Heidi says that the public school system is GROUND ZERO for the hostile takeover of our country.
Jay and Heidi not only talk the talk, but they walk the walk. They have home schooled their seven children for years, and they have opened up a home school resource center to help others take their children out of the Marxist indoctrination camps.
Earlier this year, Heidi declared her candidacy congress. Washington - and America - need a strong Christian conservative woman in Congress who will stand firm on the issues. Check out her website and see where she stands.

Too often Judge get blinded with power and think they can skip their obligations as a judge and order people around as if they are gods – tyrant gods.
In this video, 455th District Court Judge started out nice, but then threatens everyone participating in the hearing with contempt of court – first litigant Taran Champagne, then the court watchers.
Subsequent to his threats, he then unilaterally and egregiously cut the Zoom and YouTube feeds, which he is required to maintain so that the public’s right to attend and watch a hearing is not infringed upon.
This video contains some recorded footage of the hearing and a phone call that I made to the court AFTER he refused to air the feed. This footage will be submitted to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct as proof of his abuse. Whether they accept it as evidence or not is a different story. Unfortunately, the SCJC often takes a year to investigate and deliberate on these complaints before (almost always) dismissing - even when the proof is clear and convincing.

In this video, I read the factual background pertaining to this case. I also took a detour to comment on the practice of unilateral no-fault divorce in Texas, how our "Christian conservative" legislators have largely failed to challenge this issue, and some of the most anti-family legislators are given positions of power to make sure that unilateral no-fault divorce is not repealed.
