It's week 7 of flower and the nugs are a poppin'! The new camera rig makes an appearance...finally! We'll also take a look at the rest of the garden. Cheers, People! 05/24/20 ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbPUWqLWizs
Things are looking good in both rooms at the moment. The Mothers and next crop are looking good except for the #7 and #9 testers. Not sure what they want exactly but it seems like they're very sensitive to the soil I'm using. All the other plants seems to tolerate the same soil mix with little to no problems. No big deal, that's why the #7 and #9's are testers.
Thanks for tuning in! ? Later! ✌ Cheers! ?

The Bruce Banner continues to Hulk out and is the most pest resistant of the 5 cultivars I've grown this year. The grasshoppers will hang out on her and nibble a bit but they seem to prefer eating the other plants.
The Chem Dawg #4 is proving to be the skunkiest smelling of the girls, so far. It reminds me a lot of the Skunk we used to get back in the early 80's. Not as strong smelling but very reminiscent none the less. It's only a matter of time before someone hits on a real Skunky cultivar that packs a punch and I can't wait. ?
The Grand Daddy Purple seems to actually have some purple in it when the light hits it just right. Sure would be nice to see a deep purple come into them as they finish. Maybe as the temperatures drop it'll help with that. ?♂️ Here's hoping!
Thanks for watching! ?

Statuesque? Majestic? Much too tall for my grow area? Whatever! She's a joy to behold! Yes, she's taking her sweet time to mature but the other three ladies aren't doing much better. I'm seeing a bit more amber from the smaller plants but it's a negligible difference at this point. The trichome development seems to have ramped up on all four plants and that's always a welcome sight. So far, I've been impressed by these #8 testers but the proof will be in the final product. I'm looking forward to seeing these girls mature. Cheers, People! Thanks for watching! Later!

You know how I roll, if it's free and functional, I'm probably going to figure out a way to use it for something. I cut down one of these poles years ago to get it out of the back yard so I wouldn't have to mow around it anymore, the old Southwestern Bell telephone pole, 20 feet long. The other was a utility pole in the ditch out in front of the house, it got taken out by a tractor trailer rig. The local utility left it sitting in my front yard long enough that it got claimed as trash. It's much thicker in diameter than the telephone pole and newer as well, 18 feet long.
I'm glad I bothered to carefully cut them in half and then store them for all these years.

The cooler temperatures over the last couple of days have been great but they were brought in by some fairly strong thunderstorms. Fortunately, there appears to have been no damage done to the garden, this time.
I'm beginning to wonder about the wisdom of using rebar for plant stakes though. A garden bed full of lightning rods, anyone? ? Could be quite interesting! ? Or not. ?

The #9 Hammer is looking good, for the most part. ? Though the grasshoppers have been having their way with the ladies, again. ? But as you're well aware, it's all about the finish! ? How will it all end? ??♂️
