Black Core Zone is where everything goes down. This is basically the gauntlet of the game and it starts off with one of the hardest levels in the game. You will only experience a harder challenge in the appropriately named "Challenge Levels". Reason why? It's a race against Metal Sonic and... the course is relentless. While he is moving alongside you, he is not the main threat. In fact, you cannot interact with him, but he is an indicator of how screwed you are as you go through the course's traps and tricks that will break you if you do not get it down. The layout is fast-paced and likely will not be done on your first time, or... the additional 5-10 times after. It is a common example of learning the course layout and running through it with near perfection. Platforming, spikes, lava, conveyor belts, laser beams and the hardest room in the game await you throughout the stretch. But if you complete this daunting task, just know that you will be greatly rewarded.
Your reward? A very satisfying and engaging battle with Metal Sonic on a high-speed elevator deeper into the core. This boss isn't an easy fight either. He will do his best to make those 8 hits difficult to get, trying to bait you into danger and evading your initial attack. Of course, he will go offensive and he will use a large variety of attacks. Energy balls in various formations, frequency and undoubtedly pinpoint accurate. You'll have to wait closely and listen attentively to know what to expect and when to react. After doing enough damage, he'll start using his own body as a weapon and begins bouncing around the arena like a pinball, pausing to re-orient himself and re-target you. After 8 direct hits, the battle ends... and the anticipation begins...
What does Eggman have in store for you after that? Watch and find out!

Now that we've returned back to the comfort of the Lightship, we know have to head to Opalus to help deal with some rather tense issues that are brewing. It's a refreshing change of scenary, since snowy areas in RPGs tend to be pretty neat. This one doesn't fail in that department and provides some interesting entertainment, some new wardrobes, weapons, items and such. Too bad I can't buy much of anything right now!
But, there's another particular group of individuals running around in this location too...
Restraining orders are sounding pretty good right now.
Enjoy the stream segment!

Well, that happened. Donald Duck got robbed by the underhanded tactic of hostage negotiations. However, the duck DEFINITELY has the right idea of taking it to the man. The final couple of areas can prove to be a little rough. More so, Pete's Hideout has probably one of the harder segments in the game as well as a nasty trap lying in wait. What could this treasure be and what obstacles lie ahead for the intrepid, greedy explorer? Well, it's all gonna be up for viewing so get some popcorn!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, I just wanted to get a video out for you guys, but I didn't have much time to make anything extremely special. However, I did want to show off some future recordings and my further attempts to get better video quality out for you guys. Unfortunately, it's coming at the expense of Tetris Attack's Hard mode.
Enjoy the video and stay safe for those planning to do any traveling!

Okay, so the residents are CLEARLY evil this time around. But are they civilized? Today, Leon gets some up-close encounters with the anti-socialites of El Pueblo. I heard that they have the best barber there, but... why is he a doctor? Join Leon Kennedy as he starts to dive deep into the village of no return.

We stop by Sting Chameleon's place to snatch up the last part of the First Armor, smack him upside the head with a Boomerang Cutter and then end our collection adventure by revisiting Flame Mammoth and Armored Armadillo's stages. Is the Hadouken still as overpowered as it was before?
Link to download the patch and more information is here: http://ngplus.net/index.php?/files/file/16-mega-man-x-hard-type/
Here's the list of the changes below:
- AI changes: Regular enemies, bosses and minibosses have had their AI enhanced, making them more responsive and faster, among other things.
- Enemy stat rebalances: Enemies have had their HP rebalanced and they usually deal more damage.
- Player stat rebalances: Ammo has been reduced, and each of the weapon's costs have been rebalanced. Damage done by weapons have been rebalanced as well (The Hadouken isn't a 1-shot anymore), both against regular enemies and bosses. Some weapons had their speed rebalanced. The body upgrade has been nerfed to 25% damage reduction.
- Infinite lives.
- Dialogue changes.
- Death counter in the pause screen.
- Each of the bosses can now be rebattled.
- Each of the Maverick stages can be exited without having beaten it first.
- Hadouken capsule only requires 1 visit. Doesn't require all stages beaten.
- Custom Title.
- Other rebalances and small additions.

It took WAY too long but we've finally hit the pinnacle of Kirby Super Star Ultra. There is nothing harder than the True Arena and I've decided to do a wild challenge for this. Instead of going with the usual NO ABILITY, I opted for a NO FLYING, SUPLEX ONLY challenge! In all honestly, this is a more challenging and more entertaining way to get through the ten bosses that have plagued us for all the new modes...
Wait, ten? Wait, so who's the final one? Oh boy...

NOTE: This version is 2.1.25, I would not recommend playing this version and focus on the latest (2.2.8). This version of SRB2 was released back in August 2019.

The finale played out much differently in V2.1 than it did in the latest. If one thing can be said, there is a great amount of improvements made in comparisons to the content that consists of Black Core Zone. For one thing, there IS no Black Core Zone. There is only Egg Rock Zone Act 3, and then there is Egg Rock Core Zone. The fact that they've changed made all of this one Zone in the latest version is a VERY good idea.
The reason why is because of how dense the tension and difficulty is for these last few challenges. As expected, the race with Metal Sonic is still the most difficult thing in the game. In fact, it's even MORE difficult thanks to the added death pits. Mainly, the one present in the "Worst Room in the game". Another big change is at the end of the race...
Metal Sonic's boss battle is more or less the same fight, but there are some differences that makes the overall experience a little less enjoyable. Granted, it's still one of the best fights in the game, but the lack of polish shows and that it was taken care of in the latest version is a pleasure to see.
Last but not least, Brak Eggman is more or less the same fight as well, but again... small changes that I would attribute to fine polishing to make the finale all the better. This fight is definitely one that had some growing pains and strains in this version, but it all but led to a good, solid foundation. I am very glad to have taken the time to review this version and see just how much the team improved upon the content of the past. Join me as we finish Tails' journey through V2.1 of Sonic Robo Blast 2!
