Xenoblade Chronicles 3 #148, Final Battle: Z∞; Final Scenes and Credits
This is video #148 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, the party entered the Amphitheater in the Nucleus of Origin and began the final battle sequence against Z. After the first round of the battle, Noah shattered the illusion of the Amphitheater and revealed the true form of Moebius. The party defeated Z∞ in the second round. Afterwards, however, Moebius split up the party, and Noah, Eunie, and Lanz found themselves up against X∞. The first attempt did not end well.
An event takes place after Noah and company's first attempt against X∞. Reinforcements arrive.
After the event, the third round, which is against X∞, resumes. It helps if Noah, Eunie, and Lanz have a balanced setup.
Another event takes place. Reinforcements arrive to help Mio, Taion, and Sena. In the fourth round, they are pitted against Y∞.
When Y∞ is defeated, another event takes place. In the fifth round, the entire party takes on Z∞. After he has lost about a quarter of his HP, an event takes place. Z∞ begins using Origin Punishment, which can topple the entire party.
Another event takes place when Z∞'s HP is half gone. The party receives some more backup. Unfortunately, the enemy now seems highly resistant to Break.
Final Scenes (time 19:16):
After the party defeats Z∞, the final cutscene sequence takes place. Enjoy the show! Hopefully, I won't have to mute the part with the pop song.
Final Credits (time 38:25):
Then, the credits roll. On and on and on.
Another excellent title in the Xeno saga. The class system provides a lot of flexibility in setting up the party. As usual, the story is engaging, especially the main story, and the music is excellent. However, this game is certainly pushing the limits of the Nintendo Switch's capabilities.
Epilogue (time 47:19):
After the credits, an epilogue scene takes place. Curious indeed!
Some post-completion bonuses become available. The player can now use the Level Up function at rest spots to lower characters' levels. Interesting. Also, the player can now set Heroes' accessories. In addition, a very special cosmetic weapon becomes available.
I make a post-completion save. A brief monologue follows. The title screen is now different.
I understand there are a couple of classes that are available post-completion. Next time, the party will work on acquiring them. They also left some quests to do, and they have yet to explore Fort O'Virbus.

Previously, Heorot carried out Chains of Promathia Mission 2-4: "An Eternal Melody" and Promathia Mission 2-5: "Ancient Vows". After a battle and some scenes in Riverne - Site #A01, he found himself back in South Gustaberg. Promathia Chapter 3: "A Transient Dream" has begun. For Promathia Mission 3-1: "The Call of the Wyrmking", he must catch up with Prishe in Bastok. Heorot will also be able to continue the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel missions in this episode.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he receives gil for a Lightning Cluster that sold on auction. He also gets a lump of Tokkyu Tama-hagane that did not sell. He heads outside.
Bastok Mines (time 1:01):
At the auction house, Heorot puts a couple of Dark Clusters up for sale. At the Chocobo Stables, he talks to Zopago. He gets the Day 57 status update for his chocobo, Amber Beauty.
Afterwards, Heorot teleports to Port Bastok.

As Heorot approaches the Air Travel Agency at F-7, a cutscene with Prishe takes place. The attendants direct her to talk to Cid at the "Mentalworks". Ha ha!
So, Heorot teleports to the Metalworks.

In Cid's Lab, Heorot talks to Cid at H-8 for another cutscene. This concludes Promathia Mission 3-1: "The Call of the Wyrmking".
Promathia Mission 3-2: "A Vessel Without a Captain" begins. Next stop: the Tenshodo in Jeuno.

In the Neptune's Spire Inn, a scene takes place when Heorot examines the door to the Tenshodo Headquarters. A scene with Wolfgang and Aldo takes place. Seriously, Wolfy, after all Heorot has done? The scene continues in Aldo's office, where Aldo and Prishe talk. Heorot's next destination is the ducal palace. Now, Heorot will also finally be able to advance the Rhapsodies of Vana'diel mission "Crashing Waves".
Heorot teleports to Ru'Lude Gardens.
Ru'Lude Gardens (time 26:14):
As Heorot goes through the entrance to the Grand Duke Palace at H-7, a scene takes place for Promathia Mission 3-2: "A Vessel Without a Captain". Tenzen and Esha'ntarl discuss things in the throne room. This concludes Promathia Mission 3-2: "A Vessel Without a Captain".
Promathia Mission 3-3: "The Road Forks" begins. Heorot's next task is to acquire information about the participants in the ill-fated Northlands investigation. There are two sub-mission lines, 3-3A: "Emerald Waters" in San d'Oria and 3-3B: "Memories of a Maiden" in Windurst.

Previously, the party climbed Elsie's Spout in the south of Ribbi Flats and began exploring the Rae-Bel Tableland. They explored Dumas' Jaw, Lisza Garden, Perrato Cave, and Isnie Ledge. In the process, they took out a few unique monsters: Tenderling Rumi, Dapper Sepiar, and Wraithfin Segna. There were also a couple of cutscene sequences. They concluded at the lovely Saffronia Tree. Now, they will continue exploring the Rae-Bel Tableland.
The party resumes near the Saffronia Tree on Lomi Hill in the Rae-Bel Tableland. They head northwest into Lomi Hill and find a Container on a ledge. Southeast of the Saffronia Tree, there is another Container on a ledge overlooking Riez Tarn.
Up Lomi Hill south of the tree, the party finds a Skirmish between a Keves Squad and an Agnus Squad. They help the Agnus Squad this time for bonus EXP and gold.
West of the Skirmish, the party goes northwest through a brief tunnel. They emerge at the Rutez Barr location.
East of the cave exit, they climb some vines to the Pinasa Highland location. In the southeast, they find a Soldier's Husk. Look out for a Level 50 unique Feris in the middle of the area. There is a Container in the northwest.
The party drops off the west side of Pinasa Highland to find a Soldier's Husk in Rutez Barr.
As they approach a Ferronis Hulk in Rutez Barr, the standard quest "The Tableland Hulk" begins. There are 10 monsters lurking around the hulk.
There is an Ether Channel in the west of Rutez Barr. On a lower slope to the north, there is a Soldier's Husk.
The party eliminates the ten Land Ferises lurking around the Ferronis Hulk. Afterwards, they climb the Ferronis Hulk and use 10 Ether Cylinders to power it up. "The Tableland Hulk" complete!
The party discovers the Tableland Ferronis Hulk. They use the Fabricator and open the two Containers.
For "Nopon Register", the party talks to Redred. Redred gives them the Blue Nopon Pebble. The Nopon also gives the party a hint about Fabricator goods.
At the campsite, the party levels up some of their gems. They also cook a meal and use bonus EXP to level up.
Afterwards, the party backtracks southeast through the cave to Lomi Hill. Up the slope to the south, they discover the Old Kana Battlefield landmark.
As they approach the story waypoint, a cutscene sequence takes place. Eunie discovers something truly weird. Actually, it touches on something I've been wondering about. Eventually, an enemy arrives.
The party must battle a Lepus, an Agnian mech. My party is ten levels ahead of it, so it's not a fair fight.
Another scene takes place after the battle. Poor Eunie.
After regaining control, the party explores the battlefield. There is a Container on a ledge in the south.
The party turns in the Collectopaedia Card for Meemoo of the Nopon Caravans.
In the southwest, they defeat the Heretical Saurow, a unique Upa. In the west, there is an Ether Channel.
In the northeast, they find a Soldier's Husk.
East of the battlefield, the party finds the Seilas Terrace location. They find a couple Ether Channels in the east. On a ledge in the northeast, there is a Container. Another Ether Channel is in the west.
The party approaches the next waypoint in Seilas Terrace southeast of the battlefield. They will start with this location when they continue next time.

Previously, Heorot continued training against Sand Lizards and Robber Crabs in the Kuftal Tunnel, Vollbow. He reached Level 64 as Red Mage. Now, he will continue his training.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He heads out to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 0:39):
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Kuftal Tunnel, Vollbow.
Kuftal Tunnel (time 1:22):
In Kuftal Tunnel, Heorot continues the Grounds Tome's Page 1 individual training to defeat 3 Sand Lizards and 3 Rober Crabs per training regime.
In time, Heorot reaches Level 65 as Red Mage. Yay!
Then, Heorot begins making his way through the tunnel to Cape Teriggan. At J-6 in the northeast of the first map, he goes to H-12 in the south of the second map. Oh, joy. Icky spiders.
At G-3 in the north of the second map, Heorot exits to Cape Teriggan.
Cape Teriggan (time 1:01:48):
Being not far west of Valkurm Dunes, Cape Teriggan is very similar in appearance. Of course, the monsters are a lot stronger!
Heorot finds the Vollbow Outpost at G-8. He examines the Survival Guide to activate it as a teleport target. Then, he uses the Survival Guide to teleport to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:05:03):
Back in Bastok Mines, Heorot visits Neigepance in the Chocobo Stables to sell off some excess equipment. He also visits the auction house to put up a stack of Fire Crystals for sale.
Then, Heorot heads to the Residential Area.
Mog House (time 1:07:27):
At home, Heorot logs off. Next time, he will continue work on the "Rhapsodies of Vana'diel" missions and then start on Bastok Mission 5-2.

Previously, the party defeated Cagnazzo in Baron Castle. Sadly, they lost Palom and Porom, but at least they gained Cid and the Enterprise. They explored Mist, Agart, Mythril, and Troia. In Troia, they learned that the Dark Elf had stolen the Earth Crystal and taken it to the Lodestone Cavern. They also found Edward in Troia Castle, and he gave them the Whisperweed, which will let him help them when they catch up with the Dark Elf. Last of all, they caught a Black Chocobo and flew to the entrance to the Lodestone Cavern. Now, they will explore the Lodestone Cavern and confront the Dark Elf.
The party resumes at the entrance to the Lodestone Cavern northeast of Troia on the Overworld. They head inside.
Lodestone Cavern (time 0:53):
A scene takes place as the party enters the Lodestone Cavern. They note the effects of the magnetic field. If anyone is wearing any metal gear, aside from Yang wearing his claws, they will be permanently paralyzed in battle. If everyone is paralyzed like this, it is game over instantly! Fortunately, the party has already prepared.
The party starts on floor B1.
After a battle, Cid reaches Level 22.
In the northeast of B1, a chest contains a Hi-Potion.
Cid reaches Level 23. Cecil reaches Level 25. Yang reaches Level 28.
Tellah reaches Level 29.
In the southwest of B1, a chest contains a Unicorn Horn.
The party takes the southwest exit to floor B2.
In the southwest of B2, a chest contains an Ether.
The northeast door leads to a room. The chests within contain 2,000 gil and an Ether.
The party even scores a Mindflayer item, which teaches the Mindflayer summon! However, they already got one for Rydia in the second playthrough, so it is unnecessary now.
Cid reaches Level 24.
In the northwest of B2, the party continues downstairs to floor B3.
The other door in the northeast of B3 leads to a save room. The party saves here and continues on.
Cecil reaches Level 26.
The southeast door on B3 leads to a room. The chests within contain a Hi-Potion, a Spider Silk, and a Bronze Hourglass.
The northwest door leads to a connecting hallway. The chest in this hallway contains Faerie Claws. These can not only inflict the confuse status; they also deal extra damage to giant-type enemies. Yang equips them right away.
The western exit in the connecting hallway leads down to B4.
Cid reaches Level 25. Tellah reaches Level 30. Yang reaches Level 29.
In the northwest of B4, a chest contains an Emergency Exit.

Previously, Davilas began the Version 6.3 storyline, "The Tale of the Rise of the Moon with the Evil Eye". He started by meeting Kantis and Yuraiza in the Heavenly Shrine at the Folion Heavenly Temple. Davilas and Yuraiza were tasked with seeking Archangel Mitlar, who had been injured after the battle with Jia Lumina at the end of Version 6.2. Mitlar has reportedly washed up at the Choppi Wilderness on Pukland. Afterwards, Davilas and Yuraiza traveled to the Magic Cave Alamond, a new location in the Choppi Wilderness. This den of scum and villainy gave Davilas quite the runaround. Eventually, they found out that Mitlar herself, who had lost a wing and much of her power, was in charge of this place. Now, Davilas must seek three of Mitlar's Angel Feathers throughout Pukland.
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan Housing Area on Eltona, the Elf continent. He is currently a Level 124 Minstrel. Outside, he checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyers!
There was also a stack of items that did not sell. Davilas retrieves it and goes to the Bazaar to put it up for sale again.
To begin the search for Mitlar's Angel Feathers, Davilas Zooms to Pukret Village on Pukland.
Pukret Village (time 3:45):
At D-1, Davilas exits north to the Pukret Region.
Pukret Region (time 4:14):
As Davilas enters the zone, a message indicates that one of Mitlar's Angel Feathers is somewhere around. Its location is not pinpointed on the map, so it's a good thing there are guides. At least the zones are indicated.
At A-8/B-8 on the southwestern beach, Davilas examines the shining feather. He obtains an Angel Feather. However, there are two additional feathers to find.
Davilas Zooms to the Pippi's Inn destination in the East Orfea Region.
East Orfea Region (time 7:24):
Davilas heads north from Pippi's Inn. At E-1, he exits north to the Poporia Mushroom Mountain.
Poporia Mushroom Mountain (time 9:30):
As Davilas enters the zone, a message indicates that another of Mitlar's Angel Feathers is in the area.
At D-4, Davilas examines another feather on the southern hill. He must approach this from the south. He has one feather left to find.
Davilas Zooms to the Kirakira Windmill Tower.
Kirakira Windmill Tower (time 14:05):
As Davilas enters the zone, a message indicates that another of Mitlar's Angel Feathers is somewhere around.
Behind the church, Davilas examines another feather at F-1. This triggers an event. He has now found all three feathers. The next destination is the Buzz Sweets Café in the Magic Cave Alamond.
Davilas Zooms to Magic Cave Alamond.
Magic Cave Alamond (time 15:48):
At E-5, Pechapo has story info.
Davilas enters the Buzz Sweets Café at C-4. This triggers a scene with Pico and, later, Archangel Mitlar. I am leery of the Lovely Rainbow Tea if it is sweetened with Aramon sugar, but the characters seem to find it delicious. Pico seems to have great affection for Mitlar, as well. Davilas's next objective is to rest at the inn upstairs.
After the event, Pico at B-3 in the Café has story info.
Davilas leaves the Café and goes upstairs. In the inn, he talks to Innkeeper Paposya at C-6 and chooses to spend the night for free. An event takes place. Davilas and Yuraiza leave town to look for Mitlar.
Choppi Wilderness (time 25:34):
A cutscene takes place outside of the cave. Davilas and Yuraiza catch up with Mitlar for a conversation. Mitlar tells a story of the creation of Astoltia. She despairs that Astoltia is doomed to perish, but Yuraiza cannot accept that. Mitlar has a golden feather, the last part of the key to reviving her own power. She asks if Davilas has the bravery to face the darkness ahead, so he says Yes, of course. Mitlar challenges him to a duel. If he wins, she will return to Folion with him. To start the duel, Davilas must talk to Pechappo in Alamond's plaza. Mitlar won't make it easy. However, a certain someone is eavesdropping, and she is distraught.

Previously, the party carried out Quest 153 and wrapped up the Martial Artist vocation quest line. They also did some grinding, and Heorot reached Martial Artist Level 48. Now, he will start leveling up the Minstrel vocation.
Glen (time 0:28):
The party resumes in the church in Glen Castle Town.
At the pub, Heorot changes his vocation to Level 1 Minstrel. A Minstrel can equip staves, knives, or fans, and one can fight barehanded with Fisticuffs. Additionally, a Minstrel can equip a shield with knives or fans. The Minstrel skill provides a few helpful universal stat boosts and a couple of universal abilities, notably Sobering Slap, which can cure an ally of confusion, sleep, paralysis, and charm. Minstrel may be the last of the starting vocations, but there are plenty of additional vocations to unlock.
Heorot equips the Angel Slime Hat and Storyteller's Clothes Upper and Lower. With the Fun-Size Forge, he makes himself a Solar Fan +2 and a Spider Shield +3.
Under Shields, Heorot spends 1 skill point on the ability Immense Defence (ビッグシールド).

Heart of Hades (time 9:19):
The party begins grinding on the First Island. They still have a Double Bubble and a Metal Perfume in effect, though not for much longer.
After a battle, Heorot jumps to Minstrel Level 13. He learns the spells Heal (ホイミ) at Level 2, Evac (リレミト) at Level 7, Crack (ヒャド) at Level 8, Sap (ルカニ) at Level 10, and Zin at Level 13. He learns the Minstrel ability Pratfall (ボケ) at Level 2, the trait Charm +20 at Level 6, and the ability Sobering Slap (ツッコミ) at Level 11. He earns 17 skill points for a total of 17. Under Shields, he spends 3 points on the ability Blockenspiel (シールドアタック), 3 points on Shield Guard Rate +0.5% with a shield equipped, 3 points on Shield Guard Rate +0.5%, and 7 points on the ability Desperate Measures (会心ガード).
The player earns the accolades "Mood Maker" for reaching Minstrel Level 5, "Street Performer" for reaching Minstrel Level 10, "Shield User" for picking up 2 nodes on the Shield skill panel, and "Defender" for picking up 4 nodes on the Shield skill panel.

Daston reaches Level 64 and earns 14 skill points for a total of 22. Heorot jumps to Minstrel Level 21. He learns the spell Kasap (ルカナン) at Level 20. He earns 4 skill points for a total of 4. Fura reaches Level 64 and earns 11 skill points for a total of 15.
Under Hammers, Daston spends 10 points on the ability Crackerwhack (ランドインパクト). Under Knives, he spends 10 points on the ability Edge of Chaos (カオスエッジ).
The player earns the accolade "Popular Entertainer" for reaching Minstrel Level 20.

Previously, the party returned to Colony 9 in the Yzana Plains, Aetia Region. They carried out the hero quest "Reasons to Evolve", Zeon's ascension quest, and fixed Colony 9's tater troubles with Juniper's help. This raised the rank cap for Guardian Commander to 20. Now, the party will carry out the ascension quest for Alexandria of Colony Iota.
The party resumes at the Spongy Spud Patch outside Colony 9 in Yzana Plains, Aetia Region. They do another tour of the colony. Be sure to talk to Kite with Juniper in the party for an amusing reaction. Maybe we should take him to the City for a lesson.
When the party is ready to go, they skip travel to Lake Rezzento Camp in Eagus Wilderness, Fornis Region. They level up Alexandria with bonus EXP and cook some Highly-Piley Ocean's Bounty.
The paryt skip travels to Colony Iota in Elaice Highway. They explore.
With Alexandria as the Hero, they approach Gambert and Chickadee east of the Commissary for a scene with Alexandria. This starts the hero quest "Inescapable Past", Alexandria's ascension quest.
The party skip travels to Colony 30 in the Ribbi Flats. After checking around, they approach the Cave Mouth for a scene.
The party approaches Valdi for another scene. Then, they follow him southeast for another scene. After the scene, the party must battle Robobuddy.
Another scene takes place after the battle. Something shady is going on here.
Afterwards, the party examines the Robobuddy's Log tracks. The trail leads them on a long trip through Ribbi Flats to Elsie's Spout. They climb the series of walls at the Precipice of Judgment to the Rae-Bel Tableland.
The party continues following the trail through the Tableland. It takes a moment to pick up the trail again after crossing the stream.
Eventually, the trail leads the party to the Old Kana Battlefield. As they approach wreckage in the west, a cutscene sequence takes place. Oh gee, it's Moebius Q, whom the party faced in Colony 30.
After the scenes, it is boss time against Moebius Q's Outfit. Q is accompanied by two Armadillo Levnises. It's probably best to scrap the Armadillos first. My chain attack on Moebius Q did not quite end how I wanted, but that's fine.
More scenes take place after the battle.
Then, the party skip travels to Colony 30 in Ribbi Flats. After checking around, they approach Valdi and Gambert at the Cave Mouth for a scene. "Inescapable Past" complete! The party earns 15 Colony Iota Goods. The rank cap for the Incursor class increases to 20. There you go, Taion.
The party turns in Collectopaedia Cards for Gambert and Chelle of Colony Iota. They also check around Colony 30. Gambert is here now.
Then, they skip travel to Colony Iota in Elaice Highway, where they save. Next time, they will carry out another quest in Colony Iota. Then, they will finish Phase 5 of Dorrick in Colony 30.

Previously, Link explored the southwestern part of the Great Sea and found more treasures, including Pieces of Heart. He also turned in a batch of pictographs to the Nintendo Gallery for more figurines. Now, he will go to the next story destination, Greatfish Isle.
Outset Island:
Link resumes on Outset Island. After playing the Wind's Requiem and setting the wind to blow north, he begins sailing north.
Five-Eye Reef (time 1:25):
The Five-Eye Reef occupies the square north of Outset Island. While sailing through this square, Link takes a pictograph of a Gyorg, one of the shark enemies.
Islet of Steel (time 2:54):
The Islet of Steel is in the square north of the Five-Eye Reef. Link baits the Fishman to get the local chart and information. Then, he continues north.
Greatfish Isle (time 5:28):
A scene takes place as Link approaches Greatfish Isle. He appears to be too late. Fortunately, Quill the Rito flies in with some helpful information. Next, Link must go to Windfall Island and see what the pirates are up to. For a while, time will be frozen to nighttime.
After regaining control, Link sails to the Fishman and baits it for the local chart and information.
Link lands at the sandy beach on the southwestern part of the island. He swims to an island to the southeast, which has a path spiraling to the top. A Korok is here with a withered sapling, but that is not why Link is here right now.
Link makes the wind blow northwest. Then, he uses the Deku Leaf to glide northwest. He lands on a ledge on the southwest side of the middle portion of the main island and finds a small cave. A chest there contains Piece of Heart #14!
Link returns to the King of Red Lions. After he saves, he makes the wind blow east. Then, he sets sail eastwards.
Cyclops Reef (time 15:08):
The Cyclops Reef occupies the square east of Greatfish Isle. There is a Seahat infestation. When Link finds the Fishman, he baits it for the local chart and information. Then, he continue sailing east.
Six-Eye Reef (time 17:21):
The Six-Eye Reef occupies the square east of Cyclops Reef. Look out for Octoroks that spit Bombs. Link baits the Fishman for the local chart and information.
In the southwestern part of the square, Link finds an enemy submarine. He takes out a few Pink Bokoblins on the surrounding rafts and snags Joy Pendants. Then, he enters the submarine. Within, he fights three Moblins, which appear one at a time. The pots and barrels in the hold contain additional enemies. After Link defeats the Moblins, a ladder to the treasure room appears. Previously, the party carried out the first four Gadabout vocation quests, Quest 207-210. For completing Quest 210, Heorot learned the Gadabout Coup de Grâce spell, Hocus Pocus (パルプンテ). Now, the party will conclude the Gadabout vocation quest line. Then, they will return to the Heart of Hades for more grinding.
Glen (time 0:28):
The party resumes in the church in Glen Castle Town. They go outside and Zoom to Muse Coast - Cat Island Pier.
Muse Coast (time 3:22):
At G-7 on the Cat Island pier, the party talks to Weave and takes a ride to the Playhouse.
Playhouse (time 3:43):
At D-4, the party talks to Lucci on the front porch. Lucci issues Quest 211: "Gadabout Fireworks". The first objective is to visit Lucci's dad, Torchil, at the Inn of Prayer on the Rainam Greenfields.

Rainam Greenfields (time 6:55):
The party enters the Inn of Prayer through the eastern door at F-3. They go upstairs and enter the inn proper. There, they talk to Torchil at a table. Torchil gives the party the Wrecking Ball/Magic Ball (まほうの玉) key item. The next objective is to visit Yuriyuri in Gatara.
The party goes outside and Zooms to Mount Gatara.
Gatara (time 9:02):
At D-6, the party talks to Yuriyuri, the Fireworks Exchanger. The next objective is to talk to Trader Tsunana.
The party enters the trading post at E-6/F-6. At the counter, they talk to Trader Tsunana and hand over the Wrecking Ball. She gives them the Gadabout's Custom Fireworks (遊び人の特注花火) key item. The next destination is the Shell Bridge in Velinard Castle.
Heorot uses the Fun-size Forge to make himself a Miracle Sword (きせきのつるぎ) +3, which requires Smithing Level 48. When he has finished it, he equips it.
The party goes outside and Zooms to Velinard Castle Town.
Velinard (time 14:16):
The party goes to the north of town and enters Velinard Castle at D-1/E-1.
Velinard Castle (time 15:05):
The party goes upstairs to floor 3F. There, they take the southern door at D-5/E-5 to the Shell Bridge.
On the Shell Bridge, a scene with Lucci takes place. Deathwork is revealed! I gather the fireworks triggered some malicious programming.
After the scene, it is boss time against Labor Deathwork (労魔デスワーク). Deathwork's hand cannons can deal quadruple blows to a party member. It can also use Flame Radiation, which deals about 200 points of fire breath damage to the party. At the end of the battle, Deathwork provides a base of 2,000 experience points.
After the battle, a scene with Lucci and company takes place. The next objective is to report to Lucci at the Playhouse.
When they regain control, the party Zooms to Muse Coast - Cat Island Pier.
Muse Coast (time 29:00):
At G-7 on the Cat Island pier, the party talks to Weave and takes a ride to the Playhouse.
Playhouse (time 29:22):
At D-4, the party talks to Lucci on the front porch. Quest 211 complete! The party earns the Gadabout's Token (遊び人の証) key item, a Silver Skill Up Panel (スキルアップパネル・銀), and the Gadabout's Clothes Book (遊び人の服の書). Heorot learns the recipes for the Gadabout's Hat, the Gadabout's Clothes, and the Gadabout's Shoes.
An epilogue plays to close out the Gadabout vocation quest line. That appears to be it for the vocation quest lines in the base game.
Heorot uses the Fun-size Forge to make a Gadabout's Hat +3, Gadabout's Clothes +3, and Gadabout's Shoes +3. He equips the clothes and shoes and updates his cosmetic Gadabout set.
