Scott's First Attempt At Kerbal Space Program 0.17 - Part 1
This is the first part of a 100 minute voyage to Duna and back. All 3 parts are 100 minutes in total, and recorded without editing or interruption. (next part will be along in an hour or so.... they take a long time to upload)
Finally! This is the last mission, and well it's unlike any of the other missions, there's a lot of talking and exposition while I fly down tunnels to the core of the relic. There are 2 endings offered here and I show you both of them.

The MGM-52 Lance Missile is a short range ballistic missile developed for the US Army in the 1960's and deployed from 1972-1992. One of the most fascinating things about the missile is the engine design which places the sustainer engine inside the booster engine, leading to a pair of concentric nozzles that looks like no other rocker engine out there.

Another batch of news from the last couple of weeks, including all the launches to orbit with North Korea debuting a new launch vehicle and bucking the trend by telling everyone when it failed.
China had a pair of 'private' launches, and there were a handful of Falcon 9's
Boeing pulled Starliner from the launch schedule as new problems were found, Vulcan fired its engines, SpaceX failed to fire Starship's engines today.
And Copenhagen suborbitals showed off a new, smaller, more sensible engine.

With new planets officially coming in Kerbal Space Program 0.17 I'm starting to develop the rocket designs which will let me explore strange new worlds. One of the things I need to develop is a heavy lander capable of landing from orbit and then returning the crew to orbit after an excursion on the surface.

New images just downloaded from New Horizons show that the 2 lobes of MU69 are highly oblate spheroids, which really changes our view of the object, and simultaneously raises questions of formation process while providing clues as to why it's shaped this way.
