Here we have planted green sapote and matoa (pommetia pinata) at 8x10 meters. Then we have in line Mexican sunflower and between lines Inga sp. And Mexican sunflower.
The matoa I recently obtained a large purple thick meaty tasting fleshed matoa in sibu borneo. They are roughly 2 months old now and were started in air pruning pots with rotting decomposing wood soil and some native clay.

We will continue to remove the elephant grass with machete and digging bar as it regrow and then weed whack, chop and mulch the companion plants into mulch circle around the fruit trees.

I expect to see fruit on the matoa in 3 years from seed.
