These are the various videos I have done over the years explaining technical aspects of riflescopes. Most of these need to be redone with better sound and better structure, I am afraid, but it is better than nothing.
Rumble Studio promises to be able to stream simultaneously to all of my platforms including Locals, Youtube, Facebook and X. This is just a test run to make it sure it works before I scheduled a livestream for later this week. I'll delete it after I confirm it all works.

Here is a quick look at the Field Optics Research Tripod I have been using for the last few months. I have a lot of tripods, but this one is easily my favourite. I use it for both shooting support and photography.
In this video, we go over the PRO32 tripod, F-Picatinny clamp that works for both Arca-Swiss and picatinny rails and the Gunpod gun vise for guns that do not have a standardized interface.
The tripod weighs 4.6 lbs with 75mm bowl top and 115lbs weight capacity (I misspoke in the video).

Here is a kick-off for a series of Livestream Q&A sessions I plan to do going forward. This one was somewhat unplanned, but going forward, I'll try to get these going every other Thursday at 8PM Mountain Time.

This topic came out of another forum discussion on what magnification riflescopes perform best at. There is no simple answer, so I thought a discussion is worthwhile.
Join me at www.darklordofoptics.com for advice on optics and a discussion of current events.
Here is a final wrap up of where I think the GLx 2x from Primary Arms belongs.
It is likely the best general purpose optic for AKs and ARs I have seen in a while for shooting inside of $200. Definitely the best for the money and per ounce.

The ACSS reticle on this one is done just right for a 2x scopes. There are a couple of holdover marks just in case, but by and large the primary aiming point and horseshoe are all you need inside of 200 yards.
