Clefairy will use Mimic to copy off an opponent’s move then Metronome to use any random move. Miltank will be the hard part as it will use Milk Drink when running low on HP. Its Rollout attack will repeat for 5 turns in a row, growing even more powerful. After winning, Whitney will be devastated, not able to offer anything. As you’re about to leave, a female trainer will tell you about Whitney’s devastation so you should speak with the gym leader again. Speak to Whitney again and she will give you the Plain Badge along with a TM45 (Attract). When Attract is used, the opposite gender is less likely to move.

As you continue to explore the Temple of Mana, you’ll encounter another Dragon. Although the battle is the same as before, this one has higher health. The battle goes as before as the Dragon will shoot a barrage of fireballs, and the only way you can harm it is by hitting its head. With this item, go back to Spear Pillar and play the flute to reveal a mysterious stairway. Save your game before scaling the stairway. Arceus is on Level 80. You’ll need a whole lot of Dusk Balls in advance to capture this Pokémon. If Arceus is low on HP, it will use Recover. Arceus has an ability called Multitype, which changes types by holding plates. If Arceus reaches Level 100, it will learn its signature move called Judgment. Judgment varies by type depending on which plate is held.

After beating the Elite Four, you’ll battle Lance, the Dragon master. When Gyarados is running out of HP, it will use Flail to inflict big damage. It will also combo with Rain Dance and Surf. There are 2 Dragonite that will use Thunder Wave to paralyze opponents and then make them flinch by using Twister. One Dragonite knows Thunder while the other knows Blizzard. Aerodactyl will use Ancientpower to raise all of its stats 10% of the time the move strikes. Charizard will use Flamethrower to burn opponents and Slash to make hits turn critical often. The 3rd Dragonite will use Safeguard to prevent all status problems for 5 turns then use Outrage to repeat for 2-3 turns until becoming confused. After winning, you’ll enter the Hall of Fame and unlock your post-game quests.

Cavemen in the distance will throw arrows, and be sure to ride the moths to cross over the holes. A panicking caveman will throw rocks that only travel a short distance, so you shouldn’t have much of a problem with them. Continue to navigate the tree branches and you’ll battle against the tree statue. When the mouth opens up, it will shoot fire. Aim for the eye of the statue by throwing apples at it. After you defeat the statue, enter it and you’ll rescue Birdie.
