Hi my ASUS laptop screen backlight doesn't work. Accepting help over internet from someone to help me repair it for no monetary compensation.
The photograph is the circuit board of my laptop's screen. What is the component in the photograph above the red arrow that has TK written on it? It's a fuse right? It doesn't have continuity when I tested it with my multimeter. So I have to replace it right? But what about the cause that blew the fuse how do I know what blew it? Maybe some component has failed or there is a short circuit?
Repairing a broken off stainless steel pot handle with silver brazing alloy.
I forgot that ideally I shouldn't have used the carbon steel wire wheel on stainless steel because allegedly that can make stainless steel rust, I have a small stainless steel wire ''toothbrush'' that I use which is adequate, the power drill is not required to complete this repair.
