This newest album by Alicia Keys is one of my favorites of hers and of any albums in a long time. This is one of my favorites of the album, though I plan to do 2-3 more. A bit about this recording: Fun fact about the sound you hear when it starts was from my backyard. I heard this crazy cicada or cricket or something and ran out there with my microphone to capture it. I loved how it melded with the rest of the track, and one of my favorite things to do lately is to include something of nature in my songs. This song isn't one of her most popular or even a single, but it resonated with me this last year. I did my best to make it sound as good as my skills currently allow. I hope you like it.
