A Poké Flute will awaken any sleeping Pokémon. If you see a sleeping Pokémon blocking the way, use this item to awaken it. You may want to save your game first before you do this. When you use the Poké Flute, the Pokémon that wakes up will be identified as Snorlax. Snorlax is on Level 30. This one will be pretty hard to capture so lower its HP then try using status problem moves, like sleeping. There are 2 Snorlax available in Kanto. One is west from Celadon City on Route 16 and the other one is east from Vermilion City on Route 12.
