In4LO Off-Road TV Season 1 EP8: Clawhammer Trail In4LO
Season 1 - Episode 8: The In4LO crew gets a taste of a Hammer trail in Johnson Valley California. Making their way through the Clawhammer trail the gang hits giant rocks and ledges and has to cope with temperatures over 100°F.
John Bull Jeep Trail April 2017. In 2017 The Gatekeeper at John Bull is quite a bit more dug-out than in previous years, probably due to the rain and heavy snow in late 2016 and early 2017. We had a group of 9 Jeeps and everyone made it through. The 4-Door JKU's had a tougher time getting through the Gatekeeper, while the 2 door JK's and TJ's made it up fairly easy. The black Jeep JK in the video has no lockers and street tires and although he needed a winch and a tug a few times, made it through the entire trail unscathed. We had one TJ that yanked a brake-line and The NotaRubicon tore off the rear axle shaft boot at the Gatekeeper.

4x4 and Off-Roading with friends and having fun to the tune of the Modelo Beer TV commercial theme song.
Technically, the music is The Ecstasy of Gold from the film The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. But today anyone under the age of 40 simply knows it as "The Modelo commercial music".

In this video I recount the story of my relationship with the new BTech GMRS-RPT50 GMRS repeater. The RPT-50 is BTech's new high-power, 50-watt repeater, and it is the first full-power, base-station type GMRS repeater on the market. I go over most of the features of the repeater, a few things that I like about this new GMRS repeater, how it compares to my Vertex VXR-7000 repeater, and the issues and problems that I encountered with the GMRS RPT50.

In this video I explain why your transmitting volume may be low when using your ham radio or GMRS radio - In other words, why people can't hear what you're saying even though you are transmitting a strong signal. This is a comment problem with people new to amateur radio and GMRS radios.
TL;DR: How to make sure everyone can hear what you say when you transmit on a ham radio, GMRS radio, CB radio, or even a child's walkie-talkie.

Internet lore says that if you transmit on your HAM, CB, or GMRS radio with no antenna connected it will cause immediate and severe damage to the radio. In this video I tempt fate, remove the antenna from my GMRS HT, and transmit multiple times with no antenna connected. According to the HAM radio, GMRS and CB radio experts the radio will overheat and become permanently damaged. Lets see if the experts are right..
Details: I used an old, well-used BTech GMRS V1 radio, set to GMRS CH17, set at high (5W) power. I took off the antenna and transmitted for 1 second, 2 seconds, 10 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, then 6 minutes .

We take a look at the new GP-Grip Pro from GPCA Products. The GP-Grip Pro is super easy to install (no tools required) and the handle portion is made from aluminum, not floppy paracord material like you will find on so many other grab handles - and because of how the GP-Grip is designed it wont flop down against your head or block your view out the side window when you are driving. The GP Grip Pro also has hidden inside pockets and an external pocket for tools, chapstick or an emergency window-breaker pen which is included with the GP Grip PRO Survivor Pack option.
The GP Grip Pro is designed for use on a Jeep Wrangler JK or JKU (years 2007-2017) but as you can see in this video we installed it on an older Jeep TJ. Even though the roll-bars on the TJ are smaller than on the newer Jeep JKs, the GP Grip can still be made to fit well by pulling the straps up higher and folding them over a bit at the top. But don't worry TJ owners, GPCA Products plans to introduce a version of the GP-Grip made specifically for the Jeep TJ in the next few months.
For more information or to order a GP Grip PRO you can visit the GPCA Products website at: http://www.GPCA.US
