"Remember, kids; Don't just perform any old friendship charm you find on the internet, or else you and/or your friends could end up as greasy wall-hamburger in a haunted elementary school!" - 3/28/2016
The reasoning I followed for making my choices in the Sailor Moon re-dub fan cast.
I put the word "lesson" in quotes here because it was in the original title and I didn't want to remove it, but if this even qualifies as such, it's a poor one. I also changed the word "To" to "I" to better reflect the more subjective nature of the argumentation in its current state. I do think I'll re-evaluate this from a more adult perspective at some point. Maybe even in a Your Argument Sucks video.
This was a couple of months after I had first discovered Halestorm, and they've been one of my favorite bands ever since. Needless to say, I connected the dots from this song to Moka and the others, and had a little fun with it. Some of my sources could have been better, but for the most part, I quite like this one. It's actually one of my favorites of the ones I did in 2013.
Naturally, being a huge fan of Disturbed, I jumped at the chance to make an AMV of their newest song at the time, to...well...less impressive results than what would come when I did the same thing with The Vengeful One once that came out 5 years later. :waiting:
I remember being awake for 28 hours working on this one, and by the time I was proofing it before rendering it out, I couldn't even make out the words anymore. It's also the last video I produced on my FX 8350/GTX 970 system before building my then-new i7 5820k/980Ti system.
"This has kind of been in the back of my brain for a few years now, and I'm feeling like I need to make something silly again to get my mojo back when it comes to making AMVs, so yeah. Something I'm playing around with." - 4/11/2018
