Asked by a reporter about Trump’s relationship with African Americans, Anthony Scaramucci says “I don’t think he’s racist at all. Kanye doesn’t think he’s racist.”
He also condemns press use of term: "When we call people 'racist,' we hit them in a way that delegitimizes them."

During the civil unrest of 2020, then-President Trump sought to aggressively prosecute protesters accused of damaging federal property with an executive order directing federal law enforcement to seek ten year prison penalties in such cases.
While the presidency has changed hands, many activists' lives are still affected by last summer. One such activist is Jason Charter.
Charter was arrested in July 2020, and accused of participating in the destruction of a statue of Confederate Statue of Albert Pike in Washington DC, and the attempted destruction of a statue of the statue of Andrew Jackson that sits outside the White House.
He faced 20 years in prison, and the Trump administration flaunted the arrest. Then-President Trump even referenced Charter as the "ringleader" at his Mount Rushmore speech on July 4.
While on pre-trial release, Charter was re-arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault over a confrontation with right-wing journalist Jack Posobiec at a community meeting over whether to remove a statue of Abraham Lincoln from a DC park.
In October, he was also arrested on the National Mall while protesting a conservative rally advocating voters "Walk Away" from the Democratic Party.
One year and a new administration later, Charter agreed to plead guilty to a single count of misdemeanor trespassing in order to resolve all of the charges from last year.
News2Share sat down with Jason Charter to discuss the summer of 2020, the charges, and the future of the antifascist movement.
Jason Charter is expected to be sentenced on the single misdemeanor count in December. He faces up to six months in jail.

CODEPINK entered Bernie Sanders' senate office on Wednesday demanding he support negotiations over military support for Ukraine in their invasion by Russia. The office called Capitol Police, who ordered them to leave.
Police arrested protesters who refused to comply at Senator Sanders' office, beginning with CODEPINK co-founder Jodie Evans who wouldn't put down a sign with a Sanders quote.
Several more were removed from the office in handcuffs.
