This page was extracted from the WorkSafe BC document [Breathe Safer:](https://www.worksafebc.com/en/resources/health-safety/books-guides/breathe-safer-how-to-use-respirators-safely-and-start-a-respirator-program?lang=en) [How to Use Respirators Safely and Start a Respirator Program](https://www.worksafebc.com/en/resources/health-safety/books-guides/breathe-safer-how-to-use-respirators-safely-and-start-a-respirator-program?lang=en) and explains how to select a mask / respirator for virus particles. They are currently using source control theory to implement mandatory (non-medical) masks, but given that source control has been largely disproven in the operating theatre, if anyone actually wanted to protect themselves from COVID-21 (the vaccine's potential disease) using a face mask, THIS information is essential. Printing this along with the other WorkSafe BC documents to inform employees is recommended.
Every employee in British Columbia that has been made to wear a mask for over an hour at work should be filling out a WorkSafe BC form [Exposure registry program (form 41M1)](https://www.worksafebc.com/en/resources/health-care-providers/forms/exposure-registry-program-form-41m1?lang=en) for exposure to high levels (over the long term and short term limit) of carbon dioxide, because it can take many years after the exposure to notice symptoms of the disease. In this case it is now known that face covering, mask and respirator wearing can eventually cause brain damage creating permanent memory loss, so it is EXTREMELY important that a record of this be made now so that down the road you'll be able to receive compensation because the employer is protected from being sued by employees by WorkSafe BC. Print this out to let employees know they should be reporting this, every day they are exposed by mandated mask wearing. The information is important to know as a customer being made to wear a mask as well because customers CAN sue businesses that make them harm themselves by requiring face covering without disclaimers. There's an international precedent for mask caused brain damage at $250,000 - so tell your favorite shops, governments and airlines requiring masks to update their liability insurance policy to prepare for a lot of masked customer lawsuits, eventually.
This is the medical assessment page from the WorkSafe BC workplace respirator program document [Breathe Safer](https://www.worksafebc.com/en/resources/health-safety/books-guides/breathe-safer-how-to-use-respirators-safely-and-start-a-respirator-program?lang=en) with an addition of an illustration (from another page) of a person wearing a respirator mask to make it clear that this does apply to that type of mask and not just the half or full face piece elastomeric respirators that people think of when they hear that word. In my opinion this should be used as a disclaimer (or the basis for one worded for customers) when posting mandatory mask signs so that customers cannot sue the store (which they should for not having any disclaimers when requiring dangerous medical procedure) for causing them long-term harm. This page should make it clear that masks are NOT harmless and lists a number of example conditions that would prevent someone from being able to wear one.
All the stores that do not put a disclaimer about the health side effects of wearing a mask, and make it clear that there are medical exemptions, are wide open for liability when it comes to the cumulative long term health consequences of wearing a mask. Remember that it can take many years after exposure to a harmful substance or activity for the effects of it to be noticed, even though the damage happened much earlier, such as the permanent long term memory loss associated with the low blood oxygen levels observed in mask wearers. We will start educating customers about the fact that they can sue and win $250,000 for being made to wear a mask without the warnings of the harm that face coverings can do, without having to show any injury. Businesses are being warned to increase their liability insurance to cover the upcoming onslaught of lawsuits brought on by NOT posting a simple, prominent, factual disclaimer about the medical risks of the required medical procedure of masking.
Ripe for $250,000 lawsuits because there is no disclaimer about side effects. We will now be letting customers know about their rights because we've put stores on notice of their responsibilities.
