Ever since I rode a fixed gear bike I have wanted to make a fixed gear BMX for flatland tricks. I have finally created this bike since I cannot find one. Here is a rookie session on this bike. I am not a seasoned ballet rider so you can get an idea of just how hard it is to do trick flatland riding, let alone change the game with a fixie! ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g39foVx8U-U
Why do we behave in ways that defy our own logic and rational thought process? Who is really in control here? In this video, I take a look from a perspective of my own actions by going meta and looking at myself as if I were an outside entity. It is interesting, and often funny to watch yourself behave like this, completely ruled by emotion and become conscious that you are not really in control of your actions, as much as you'd like to think that you are.

Despite melting my finger in Purple Power, I pushed on and got this engine back in the truck. It was a bitch, but now it is done and soon this old beast will move under its own power!

The colors are starting to change in Colorado and today I have to take a cord of Cedar firewood to Marble, Colorado, which is easily on my favorite little known Colorado Mountain towns. Video does no justice compared to actually being there, but hopefully it provides a glimpse of the sweetness that exists in the heart of Rocky Mountains.
