Amazon Prime presents The Lord of the Rings, The Rings of Power to audiences with no respect whatsoever to fans of J. R. R. Tolkien original works. This new series had a chance to entice LOTR's fandom with a representation of the world some have loved but instead chose to Get Woke and Go Broke with forced diversity instead of simply presenting good story telling. The addition of darker skin tones to races where none had existed gives no explanation as to why if they existed in the past, they were not present in LOTR or The Hobbit.
