In Spring 2019 Deity released the Connect Wireless Kit and since then, they've been updating the firmware and working to make the experience better. Fast Forward to January 2020 and Deity released another variation of their wireless kit known as the Interview Kit. The big different between the two is that in the interview kit, one of the two BP-TX BodyPack transmitters has been swapped out for a cube style HD-TX HandhelD transmitter. The HD-TX provides phantom power thru an XLR jack allow you to turn a stick mic into a wireless mic or a boom pole into a wireless boom. This is a very welcome addition to the Deity Connect System!
In this review I don't repeat much of what I covered in my first Connect review so watch my Deity Connect Review if you'd like to learn about the menus, features, how the Connect's 2.4 GHz wireless system works, see durability tests, battery tests, etc. That review can be watched here:

Full Disclosure:
Deity did send this Deity Interview Kit in exchange for a fair review. I do get to keep it following the review but I'm not going to allow it to influence my review in any way so you can expect it to be an honest review.

If you were to give each masked mic a rating between 1-10, what would they be? Write your rating in the comments below! Tell me which is your favorite and why. Remember, this is a blind microphone test so you can compare 2 mics without any pre-existing expectations affecting your ears and what you hear.
In this video I reveal the two microphones compared in Masked Mics 10. They were revealed to be:

This is a supplement to my Wild Lines video. I contemplated adding to this video to explain what's going on but I already did that in another video.

In this video I walk you thru the process I followed to "ADR" myself using the wild lines I recorded clean right after shooting the noisy pass.

With drones becoming more and more popular in everything from feature films to content creation, the propeller buzz is something we in the sound world are going to have to deal with. The big question we film sound guys are always asked is "how bad is that sound?" They know the answer just like a toddler knows how bad something smells when they want you to smell it but it still happens often. In this video we're going to look at a few options and see if there's anything we can use to dial out the drone sound and preserve our audio.

Most established industry veterans know how to manage their Internet Movie Database listing or don't bother at all. People new to film are much more likely to list everything they possibly can. That's where there are potential problems. If you don't know how to list things properly, you can accidently misrepresent yourself leading some people to think you're dishonest about your experience. In a few short minutes, you'll know how to properly credit yourself so pay attention. Sound Speeds!

Since Summer 2017 I've been shooting and editing Sound Speeds videos in the middle of the night and every time I'm in my own world while creating. It doesn't matter if you're a fellow content creator, writer, gamer, reader or someone that enjoys crafting with headphones on, the solution I present in this video may help you to not get startled while focused on your task.
It's therapeutic to turn off your phone and distance yourself from the outside world while having alone time but what about those times when someone needs to reach you for some reason? You might not want to be disturbed but sometimes it's necessary and in this video I'm going to show you an effective yet gentle solution for bringing you back to reality when someone needs you.

It's not uncommon for people to over use compression in their audio recordings. When you want your audio to be more or less the same volume but without having to adjust your playback level constantly, what other options do you have? I understand the struggle and face it myself but as much as you may want your levels to be constant, if you over compress your audio, you're effectively lowering the bit depth of your audio recording. In this video I'll show you exactly how that is.
