Like I've mentioned in a past LBRY upload post I'm always one to constantly keep myself busy with art projects. It's a blessing and a curse though. It's always filled with excitement but comes with lots of anxiety. At least in my case. This new artist venture of timelapse has really put that at rest and forces me to chill the fuck out for at least an hour or so for each new time lapse.

Last nights Sky Time Lapse with some shipping containers as the foreground subject or as my GF likes to call them Sea Cans. Never heard of them as sea cans before.

Boy this time lapse gave me some trouble with dissolving the birds in and out of the time lapse. Lots of masking and experimenting, but in the end created something pretty cool and was worth the extra hours of effort for sure.

I wasn't going to post this time lapse because I thought the clouds weren't that dynamic this time around. There's also some weird banding interference happening mostly in the yellow painted brick that totally bugs me. However I decided from the beginning of starting this channel that I wasn't going to be too precious with my videos. This is all a big experiment for me and I found this art form by accident. I'm just a novice photographer. I'm learning as I go and seeing where it leads me. So there, I'm going just post it even if I'm not 100% happy with the results.

Time Lapse Night Dusk test 2. When I posted my the first sunset time lapse I wasn’t going to post it. I had mistakenly left the Auto-Focus on. As the sun started to dip below the horizon, the focus was racking in and out trying hard to get a crisp image. Anyway I like how it ended up and going to experiment with it more. Let’s just say it was a happy accident ?

Some footage from a big day of time lapsing. I shot 5 lapses yesterday. It was the most I've captured in a day so far. I shoot them for about an hour each, but it can take me 30 minutes to an hour to find a good spot with a nice composition.

I have to say this past month making these timelapses for my daily LBRY posts has been a dream. You see I'm a real homebody. I really enjoy myself working at home all the time on my projects after work. I barely get out and enjoy the sun and nature because I'm obsessed with creative ventures at home. These timelapses get me that needed vitamin D and they calm my busy mind, something that I have denied myself for years perhaps if I'm really honest the past decade. It's been a nice break just being in the moment and observing.
