Last month tens of thousands of passengers had their flights cancelled due to drones. The news covered the event heavily but one thing that wasn't clear is why and how the disrupted one of the UK's busiest airports. Gatwick's runway has been as devices have been seen flying over the airport. Sussex Police came forward and said that drones had been seen in the area and this was most likely the culprit.
It's been estimated that over 110,000 passengers on 760 flights were disrupted, people were sleeping on the airports floors and didn't really know what was going on. They were only being told that the runway would not open "until it was safe to do so".

Footprints from ice-age humans some 13,000 years ago have been found beneath the sands of a Canadian Island in the Pacific, the earliest prints ever discovered in North America. The 29 footprints of three different shapes and sizes were embedded in a layer of clay on Calvert Island in British Columbia.
