This is video #123 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch. Then, they did the standard quest "The Future I Want to Spin" in Colony Mu and helped them start an Armu and Ardun ranch. Now, the party will work on the Armu and Ardun ranching in Colony Mu. Then, they will do another Colony Mu quest. Note that during "The Future I Want to Spin", the party chose to pair an Easygoing Ardun and a Timid Armu. This will simplify the ranching process. The party resumes at the Inlet Camp in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region. They set Fiona as the active Hero. The party skip travels to Colony Mu, Respite Ranch. They talk to Tussore. For each iteration of Armu and Ardun ranching, they must give Tussore three stages of feed: for juvenile Armus and Arduns, for adolescents, and for young adults. For the juvenile stage, the most convenient feed is Pulpgrass, which can be bought in Colony Tau. For the adolescent stage, the most convenient feed is Cracker Nuts, which can be bought in Colony 9. The young adult stage is the most challenging to come by. The foodstuffs are pretty much the same as for "The Future I Want to Spin", but the completion percentage for each item has been halved. Heart Peaches are the most filling; they can be farmed on Hovering Reef 6 and Hovering Reef 7 in the Keves Castle Region. After the party has provided the three stages of feed, a scene takes place. Tussore asks which Armu and Ardun to pair. The party chooses the Naughty Armu & Considerate Ardun. To make it rain, the party skip travels to Seaspray Lookout in the Anu Shoals. They pay Pitapata 10,000 G to do the rain call. If it fails, they can pay Pitapata to try again until it works. The party skip travels to the Colony 9 Assembly Square, Aetia Region. They buy Cracker Nuts from the Traderpon. They skip travel to the Colony Tau Ferronis, Pentelas Region. They buy Pulpgrass from the Traderpon. The party skip travels to Colony Mu, Respite Ranch, Cadensia Region. They talk to Tussore for a scene. They earn some rewards. The party talks to Tussore and goes through another round of feeding. When asked which Armu and Ardun to pair, they choose the Gourmet Armu & Excitable Ardun. They go to the Anu Shoals and pay Pitapata to summon the rain. When they return to Colony Mu and talk to Tussore, a scene takes place, and they earn more rewards. The party talks to Tussore and goes through a third round of feeding. When asked which Armu and Ardun to pair, they choose the Naughty Armu & Brawny Ardun. This is ultimately the selection that they must make. The party goes to Anu Shoals and pays Pitapita to summon the rain. When they skip travel back to Colony Mu, Respite Ranch, a scene takes place. They meet Nandun, the shiny Ardun. A boss monster flies in, the Level 59 Assassin Moramora. It has some powerful frontal breath attacks. Another scene follows the battle. This concludes the ranching quest. Near the Colony Mu Main Gate, the party learns "Lively Colony Mu (1/2)" and "Ranch". At the Canteen, they learn "Lively Colony Mu (2/2)". The party discusses "Ranch" at the Canteen for bonus EXP. With Fiona in the party, they discuss "Lively Colony Mu". This starts the standard quest "Colony Mu's Resolve". On the Viewing Deck, the party talks to Ayase for a scene. Training exercise time! The party goes out the Main Gate and talks to Nico to start the training exercise. They can talk to her again to cancel. There are 24 Colony Mu soldiers to defeat. Team Mikaela is at the Main Gate, with Team Tallow nearby. Team Lotus is near the Canteen. Team Tussore is in front of the Barracks. Team Kanata is at the north gate. On the Viewing Deck hill, the party finds Team Shu in the southwest, Team Hildemarie in the north, and Team Ayase in the middle. Ayase is the boss. After all the enemies are defeated, a long scene takes place. "Colony Mu's Resolve" complete! The party skip travels to the Inlet Camp, where they upgrade a gem. Then, they save. Yarn issues Quest 149: "The Legacy of a Super Tendoshi", the first Martial Artist vocation quest. The prerequisite is to reach Martial Artist Level 10. Yarn gives Heorot the "Super Ten Yugi - Book 1" (超天遊戯-壱の書-) key item. The first objective is to read this book, which will tell him what to do next. Heorot goes into his key items and reads "Super Ten Yugi - Book 1". The next objective is to defeat five Haardvarks in the East Glen Region. The party Zooms to Glen Castle Town. Yarn gives Heorot the "Super Ten Yugi - Book 2" (超天遊戯-弐の書-) key item. The first objective is to read this book. Heorot goes into his key items and reads "Super Ten Yugi - Book 2". The next destination is the Big Glittering Windmill Tower. The party Zooms to the Big Glittering Windmill Tower on the Pukland continent. Big Glittering Windmill Tower (time 13:11): As the party arrives, a scene takes place. The book gives Heorot another task. Five times, he must encounter a Terror Tabby, use the Psyche Up ability to boost his tension, and defeat the Terror Tabby. The party exits at H-3/H-4 to Windmill Hill. Windmill Hill (time 14:21): The party finds Terror Tabbies (ベロニャーゴ) on the plain east of the river near the Big Glittering Windmill Tower. In each battle, the protagonist must use Psyche Up and then deliver the final blow to the Terror Tabby. It won't work if the character is already at max tension; wait until the character's tension has drained and then try again. After a time, Heorot has tensely defeated five Terror Tabbies. The next objective is to report to Yarn in Julette. The party Zooms to Julette. Julette (time 19:50): The party reports to Yarn at D-6. A scene with an Ogre Martial Artist takes place. Quest 150 complete! Yarn rewards the party with a Strength Ring (ちからのゆびわ). Heorot equips the Strength Ring. The party talks to Yarn at D-6 again. Yarn issues Quest 151: "Heir to the Name", the third Martial Artist vocation quest. The prerequisites are to complete Quest 150 and to reach Martial Artist Level 20.
