Ajay Edwards unveiled his new party's flag & name as Hamro Party at Jagjid Hotel in Mirik.

Ajay Edwards held an organizational meeting and announced his party's name "HAMRO PARTY" and A flag at the Mirik Jagjid Hotel. It may be recalled that Ajay Edward had announced the name of his party from Mirik a month ago by announcing the formation of a new political party for which Ajay Edward and his team had come to Mirik on 23rd November. People from Mirik and surrounding areas were coming to meet him. Thousands of supporters turned out in Mirik today for the party's naming ceremony, while Ajay Edward announced the name of the party as "Our Party" for which he requested the people to send suggestions through voting. He also unveiled the party flag at the event and explained the color and meaning of the flag, meaning the power and authority of Nebi Blue on the flag. Now this flag will show the power and rights of the common people and not of the party but also of the leader. The three white birds in the flag symbolize peace and liberation from the swamp of poverty in the mountains, lowlands and Dooars.
