Everyone seems to be talking about fake news these days.
But was news *ever* accurate and trustworthy?
Way back, around 2005 or so, I had my first ever experience with the news getting it wrong. And I haven't trusted the news since.

Watch the action unfold as my hedgie battles it out against a dishtowel.
Will my sweet hog attempt to anoint himself with the wonderful dank towel smell?
Will he fail 3 times in a row?
Will he present us with a glorious view of his backside?
Watch and find out!
The towels are stuffed under the couch to prevent him from crawling under there. It's a pull-out couch, with lots of sharp springy slidey foldy metal bits, and I'm worried that he might get hurt on something under there.

My Hedgehog was very shy last time we took him to the park.
This time, we let the little huffle cactus explore in some taller grass, where he would have more cover and hopefully feel less exposed.
We didn't keep him out nearly as long this time, as it was an hour before sunset, and the temperature was beginning to drop below 25 degrees.

Back in 2005 during my OCAD days, I took a Sonic Arts class - think of it as the non-musical things you can do with sound.
I thought these files were lost forever, but I found them!
This video was made by me.
The VST synth was build by me using SynthEdit.
The score was composed by me.
Despite being published in 2017, it was created in 2005 - so it should be free of copyright 12 years earlier than this video's publication date would suggest.

I used to make a lot of samplers and tester paintings to try out a technique for a big painting. If they turned out, I held onto them....for some reason.
No longer. Now they are fuel for the fire!
This is a 5X slow motion video of fire consuming a painting. These videos are intended to be watched casually in the background, like something from the "slow TV" movement.
