I was working on a project in my yard, heard loud speakers, and an angry crowd. I thought there was a politically motivated riot nearby. Instead it was some very aggressive preachers ready to fight my neighbors if need be.
I don't disagree with the gospel message presented by them. I even believe in street evangelism, and open air preaching. I just don't think they read the crowd in this regard. A riot is something to be avoided, not stirred up. Paul's friends could recognize this at Ephesus and prevented him from any involvement (Acts 19).
