The European Union (EU) and China agreed recently to an investment deal that will give EU companies greater access to Chinese markets. In this video we address the following:
1) What does this investment deal mean for EU/China/USA?
2) How concern the US should be as Europe’s capital flows toward China
3) Will European corporations outperform Americans?
The deal will offer bigger markets and a better business environment for both China and EU, said President Xi. Interestingly, Macron offered to visit China in the coming months along with German Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss other areas of cooperation.

Since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) initiated in 2013,126 countries and 56 international organizations across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and South America have signed cooperation agreements with China to participate. In this video we answer three questions:

Some estimates put the cost of BRI between 4-8 Trillion dollars.

The US & and its European allies held talks with Moscow today at NATO headquarters in Brussels to try to address the ongoing tensions with Russia near the Ukrainian borders. As expected, the talks were inconclusive!
Moment of Truth: As argued in my book, The Dynamics of Russia’s Geopolitics, NATO is irrelevant and needs to be dissolved. Looks to me that NATO/US are not taking Russia’s strategic interests seriously. What does the West expect? Look for more talks & no action!!! What say you???

Recently, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin witnessed via video link the groundbreaking ceremony of four advanced nuclear reactors powered by Russia's third-generation nuclear technology. In this video we answer the following:
1) What strategic significance does China-Russia nuclear cooperation have?
2) How this nuclear cooperation may further strengthen China-Russia relations?
3) Could China-Russia further cooperate in other areas of joint strategic/military interests?
4) Are China & Russia sending a message to the West/US?
One thing is sure: Many sensitive and long-standing nuclear issues like those pertaining to Iran and North Korea are related to the peaceful use of nuclear power. Technology cooperation between China and Russia could provide more flexibility for these countries to find fairer solutions, rather than letting the US use its technological advantages and sanctions to bully others and cause deadlocks and/or reversals.
