A father-son reunion with a difference has gone viral after video footage of it was shared online. 24-year-old Moscow resident Artyom has been taking part in the special military operation for three months, while his father Viktor works with the humanitarian battalion, supplying the troops with food, clothing, and even drones. When he learned the battalion was going to Zaporozhye, he jumped at the chance to make an impromptu road trip. Seven days and 1000 km later, Viktor was able to find his son by using his call sign, ‘Zina,’ and their tearful reunion has melted the hearts of Russian speakers all over the internet.

Social media has once again proved to the human race that we aren’t exactly galaxy-brained. This time, South Korean food and drug authorities have been forced to issue a warning against eating toothpicks. Not content with eating laundry pods, spoonfuls of raw cinnamon and ‘pink sauce,’ influencers are now cooking and eating these unassuming after-dinner tools. Admittedly, these toothpicks are made of cornstarch, but are not subject to the same safety regulations as food. Plus, you know, they’re toothpicks.
Budding internet chefs have been going viral by cooking the toothpicks in various ways, adding sauces and seasoning, and even using them as ‘noodles.’ Cue millions of views, and comments like ‘I feel like I shouldn’t eat them, but they look delicious.’
Look guys, general rule of thumb here – don’t eat something with a higher IQ than the average TikToker.

In this episode of Keiser Report, Max and Stacy discuss how the profit motive is better than the plunder model in terms of achieving favorable long-term outcomes for an economy. Hegemonic powers going back thousands of years have ultimately resorted to the plunder rather than competitive profit model and inevitably end up losing their power as a result. They discuss the Great Hashpower Migration out of China as an example.
In the second half, they continue with the second part of the most talked about event of Bitcoin 2021: Max interviewing Michael Saylor about the reason he bitcoins, and what next on the road to hyperbitcoinization.

Constable R. M. D. Dayaratne was tasked with stopping protesters from breaking into Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s residence in July 2022. Before he managed to radio HQ to say ‘instructions unclear,’ he sat at a piano, and played a delightful song while the protesters defiled the president’s bed, jumped in his pool and rummaged through his unmentionables.
Rajapaksa then fled the country, although that was probably because of the enormous economic troubles and social unrest, and not a reflection of Dayarante’s skill at tickling the ivories.
Unsurprisingly, Dayarante has been spectacularly fired over his ‘breach of discipline’ in the key of G. Makes you wonder why the US police force couldn’t do that when they let the January 6 protesters in. They didn’t even turn on the radio.
