Xenoblade Chronicles 3 #165, Col. Lambda: Past and Present; Col. Tau: Korresia Finds Her Calling
This is video #165 in my gameplay series of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch.

Previously, the party went to Colony 30 and carried out the standard quest "The Final Cog". They also visited Colony Lambda and learned some info. Then, they did the Black Castle Chosen challenge at the Land of Challenge.
The party resumes at the Lambda Shelter in Colony Lambda, Pentelas Region. They set Isurd as their current Hero.
At the camp, they discuss the info "Situation in Colony Lambda", which they learned in Colony Lambda during the previous video. This starts the standard quest "Past and Present", which requires Isurd.
The party enters the Commander's Office on the Clearwater Shelf. This triggers a cutscene with Isurd and his lieutenants. Tonya arrives with troubling information.
The party skip travels to the Old Way Camp in the Old Cliffside Way. Up the slope to the northwest, they talk to Tonya for some dialogue.
After the event, the party examines the Intruder's Tracks. They follow the tracks past the camp and into the High Maktha Wildwood. When they reach the end of the tracks north of the Vista of Rhonnar, a cutscene takes place.
Then, the party skip travels to the Spartan Fennick grave in the Low Maktha Wildwood. They turn the Overkill option back on.
They approach the target to the west/southwest for a scene. Sounds like someone has a grudge.
After the scene, it is boss time against the Colony 13 Remnants, a group of five Keves Deathsappers. They are Level 60, so they did not give my party much of a problem.
Another scene takes place after the battle.
The party skip travels to the Clearwater Shelf in Colony Lambda. They enter the Commander's Office for another scene. "Past and Present" complete! The party's Colony Lambda's affinity reaches rank 5.
They turn in a new Collectopaedia Card for Kitty. With Fiona set as their current Hero, they check around the colony. After one circuit, they do so again with Isurd as their Hero.
The party skip travels to the Colony Tau Entrance in the High Maktha Wildwood. They check around Tau.
They talk to Graziana in the Crop Fields in the northeast. They learn the info "Korresia's Return (1/2)". They talk to Graziana again and learn the info "Herbal Tea".
In the medical tent in the east, they talk to Glory. They learn the info "Korresia's Return (2/2)".
The party skip travels to the Sparkling Pool Camp. They set Juniper as their current Hero and level her up to Level 91. They discuss "Herbal Tea" for bonus EXP.
They also discuss "Korresia's Return". This starts the standard quest "Korresia Finds Her Calling", which requires Juniper.
The party skip travels to the Colony Tau Canteen. They approach Korresia east of the Canteen for a scene. Korresia needs some accessories to look at. The party can bring her ten of any of the accessories on her list.
The party skip travels to the Colony 9 Assembly Square in Yzana Plains, Aetia Region. They visit Camilla at the Commissary and stock up on Black Steel Bands, Silver Necklaces, and Prayer Necklaces. These are the least expensive items on Korresia's list.
The party skip travels to the Colony Tau Canteen, Pentelas Region. They talk to Korresia and hand in the accessories. Some more dialogue takes place.
After the event, the party skip travels to the Colony Mu Canteen in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region. Near the shops, they talk to Korresia. "Korresia Finds Her Calling" complete!
Korresia now runs an accessory shop in Colony Mu, so the party picks up some of her goods.
Afterwards, they skip travel to the Colony Tau Entrance, Pentelas Region. They save when they arrive. Next time, the party will check around Colony Tau and continue questing.

Previously, the party carried out a handful of quests that became available in Fake Rendashia when they defeated Demon Hero Anlucia: Quest 216 in Melsandy Village, Quest 217 in the Town of Seredo, Quest 218 in the Kingdom of Arahagiro, and Quest 219 in Gran Zedora Castle. Now, they will carry out a few more quests in Fake Rendashia.
Real Gran Zedora (time 0:29):
The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora. They go outside and Zoom to the Town of Fake Seredo.
Fake Seredo (time 4:20):
In the northeast, the party enters the Hilltop Church at G-2. On floor 2F, they talk to Fekt at E-6 by the entrance to the Tea Room. Fekt issues Quest 220: "Request for a Tomogara". The prerequisite is to defeat Demon Hero Anlucia at the Whirlpool of Creation. Fekt wants to make presents for everyone in town, but he needs the materials. The first objective is to gather two things for Fekt. One is the Tomogara Sapling (トモガラの苗) key item, which Pink Panzers (ウイングタイガー) drop. Pink Panzers can appear in the Fake Rinjahal Coast or the Fake Seredot Mountain Road. Fekt also needs a dollop of Horse Manure (うまのふん). This can be gathered from sparkly spots in a few places, such as the stables in Fake Gran Zedora Castle.
The party goes outside and Zooms to the Fake Rinjahal Coast - Tower destination.
Fake Rinjahal Coast (time 6:54):
The party arrives at E-4 in front of Rinja Tower. To the southwest, they hunt Pink Panzers (ウイングタイガー) near the main road around D-5.
After a few battles, the party acquires the Tomogara Sapling (トモガラの苗) key item. They already have some Horse Manure (うまのふん), so the next objective is to deliver the goods to Fekt in Seredo.
The party Zooms back to the Town of Fake Seredo.
Fake Seredo (time 10:28):
In the northeast, the party enters the Hilltop Church at G-2. On floor 2F, they talk to Fekt at E-6 and turn in the Tomogara Sapling and Horse Manure. He asks the party to talk to him again after a few minutes.
The party talks to Fekt at E-6 again. He is in need of guidance, so he asks the party to talk to Hayato at a Woodworking Guild somewhere.
The party goes outside and Zooms to the Royal City Kamiharumui North.
Kamiharumui North (time 13:57):
The party enters the Woodworking Guild at G-3 and goes up to the top floor. In the northeastern room, they talk to Hayato. Hayato gives them the Woodworking Book for Kids (子供向けの木工教本) key item. The next objective is to give this book to Fekt.
The party goes outside and Zooms back to the Town of Fake Seredo.
Fake Seredo (time 16:07):
In the northeast, the party enters the Hilltop Church at G-2. On floor 2F, they talk to Fekt at E-6 and turn in the Woodworking Book for Kids. Quest 220 complete! The party earns a Wood-Carved Rosary (木彫りのロザリオ) and 5 Spellbound Boughs (まほうの樹木).
The party goes outside and Zooms to the Kingdom of Fake Arahagiro.
Fake Arahagiro (time 19:12):
At D-5 on floor 1F, the party talks to Gretal. Gretal issues Quest 221: "Desert People Hungry for Entertainment". The prerequisite is to defeat Demon Hero Anlucia at the Whirlpool of Creation. Stress is high these days with the end of the battle tournaments. So, Gretal wants Heorot to consult with Saudy, a master of entertainment somewhere, to learn about a fun game for the people of Arahagiro.
The party goes out to the Courtyard and Zooms to Rakkaran, the Island of Entertainment.
Rakkaran (time 21:05):
The party enters the Casino at G-6. In the Main Room, they talk to Saudy at F-5/F-6. Saudy teaches the party the Rules of Tag (鬼ごっこのルール). The next objective is to tell these to Gretal in Arahagiro.
The party leaves the Casino. They Zoom to the Kingdom of Fake Arahagiro.
Fake Arahagiro (time 23:48):
At D-5 on floor 1F, the party talks to Gretal. They teach Gretal the Rules of Tag. The next objective is to acquire the Spirit Flute of Invitation (招きの霊笛) from Shades (あやしいかげ), which inhabit the well south of town in the Arahagiro Region.
At D-8/E-8, the party exits south to the Fake Arahagiro Region.

Previously, atop Mount Ordeals, Cecil overcame his bloodstained past and became a Paladin. Back in Mysida, the Elder opened the Devil's Road, and the party took it to the town of Baron. After they knocked Yang out of his amnesia, he rejoined the party and gave them the Baron Key. Now, they can take the Ancient Waterway and infiltrate Baron Castle. But first, they will take a detour to revisit Mist.
Overworld:
The party resumes on the Overworld outside the town of Baron. They head southwest to the nearby Chocobo Forest.
Chocobo Forest (time 0:59):
The party takes a Yellow Chocobo as a mount.
Overworld (time 1:06):
The party rides northwest. They enter the Mist Cave.
Mist Cave (time 1:25):
The party goes straight through the Mist Cave. At the other end, they exit to the Mist region.
Overworld (time 3:08):
Past the cave, the party heads east and enters the village of Mist.
Mist (time 3:13):
Mist is not in great shape, but some buildings and villagers remain. Some of the villagers have useful information.
In the northwest house, there is a secret passage behind the fireplace. It leads to chests with a Gold Hairpin and Clothing. The Gold Hairpin is definitely worth it. Another secret passage leads to two more chests: a Polymorph Rod and a Ruby Ring. The Polymorph Rod provides a good boost to intelligence. Ruby Rings are non-metallic and will be quite useful in a future dungeon.
Back outside, there is a pond in the northeast of town. At a bush east of the pond, the party can find a hidden Bomb Fragment.
There are a weapon shop and an armory, but their offerings are not that great. Might have been bettre if the party could have come here with Edward in the party.
In the southeast woods, there is a clearing with two hidden Bomb Fragments.
And that's it. The party leaves Mist.
Overworld (time 9:15):
The party returns to the Mist Cave.
Mist Cave (time 9:19):
They backtrack through the cave. Near the southwest exit, they hunt a little until they battle Eyewing Moths, which Cecil and Kain missed during their earlier visit.
Overworld (time 11:21):
The party backtracks to Baron. First, they enter the castle.
Baron Castle (time 12:01):
The party chats with the guards at the castle gate. Unfortunately, there is no getting inside.
Overworld (time 12:26):
The party enters the town of Baron.
Baron (time 12:29):
In Baron, the party first uses the Baron Key to unlock the weapon and armor shop. Inside, who do they find but Namingway/Campingway! He has changed interests once again and become Jammingway the bard. They can now talk to him for the Music Box, which you can us

Previously, Link restored the stolen light to the light spirit Faron and returned normal light to Faron Woods. In so doing, he regained his human form and gained the legendary Hero's Clothes. He revisited Coro and got his Small Key, which he used to unlock the gate to the dark cave. He also bought a Bottle full of Lantern Oil from Coro.
Before heading on to the Forest Temple, though, Link heads back through Ordon Woods (time 1:18) to Ordon Village (time 2:17). Unfortunately, he cannot call Epona right now. I wonder why.
In town, he chats with the remaining villagers. They are all distraught about the missing children, and Mayor Bo had gone off to try to find the kids. Sera's Sundries now sells Lantern Oil in addition to slingshot pellets and milk. And Uli and Jaggle will comment on Link's new armaments...
Afterwards, Link returns to Faron Woods to the north (time 13:59). Of course, Midna still will not allow him to head north towards Hyrule past Coro's house. Thanks, Midna.
Now, past the gate, he heads into the dark cave (time 15:36). This is as it was before. The spider webs that he destroyed will remain gone, and the torches that Link had lit will still be lit.
After an uneventful trip, Link emerges in the foggy open area (time 16:22). The basin is still full of poisonous purple fog. As he pulls out his Lantern to light his way, the monkey will snatch the Lantern! However, she is actually pretty helpful. She will go ahead and swing the lantern to clear some of the purple fog. Link will have to protect her from critters like Keese and Deku Babas.
By the gate to the Forest Temple path, the monkey will leave the Lantern behind (time 19:56). Link will have to pick it up again, but it will be out of oil.
Link heads along to the Forest Temple path (time 20:19). Just inside, a couple of Bokoblins are just waiting to be clobbered.
At Trill's, Link refills his Lantern with oil (time 21:03).
Past Trill's shop, Link encounters a mysterious golden wolf (time 22:11). As he approaches it, it takes him off to the spirit realm, and Link is confronted by a skeletal soldier. However, this is no enemy. He will serve as Link's mentor and teach him a total of seven Hidden Skills throughout the game. On this occasion, he teaches Link how to perform the Ending Blow. This useful ability can be used on stunned enemies to finish them off. To test it out, Link has to repeatedly strike the soldier until he falls stunned, then use Finish. To see this warrior again, Link must find the Howling Stones located throughout the world. More often than not, the Howling Stones will be right along Link's path.
Beyond, Link finally reaches the entrance to the Forest Temple (time 27:13). The stones blocking it are gone. To gain entry, Link just has to burn down the spider web with the Lantern. He ventures inside.
In the next episode, he will begin exploring this, the game's first dungeon.

Previously, the party began the main storyline in Julette on the Wena Islands. After meeting little Somya in her house, they visited Mayor Boren. The mayor hired them to be Investigator Kinna's bodyguards and escort him to the Ruins of Sleeping Wisdom on King Radis Island. On the way, they saw Somya taking care of a baby cat monster on Muse Coast. In the Ruins of Sleeping Wisdom, they helped Kinna recover a Crystal Fang from a Death Conductor so he could fix a massive tuning fork in the Tuning Fork Chamber. Back in Julette, they earned their reward for helping Kinna: 1,000 gold. However, the fact that Somya was taking care of a baby cat monster caused a stir in Julette. The party will now help resolve things so they can get another Key Emblem.
Julette (time 0:25):
The party resumes in the church in Julette. Somya in her house in the north has story info, as does Surjin near the exit to Muse Coast in the southwest.
The party enters the mayor's house at G-3 in the northeast. This triggers a scene with Mayor Boren, Hussar, and Somya. Hussar joins the party as a guest, and Somya will also be coming along. The party acquires the Kitten key item. They must now take the ferry in the southeast of Muse Coast to Cat Island.
After the scene, Mayor Boren in his house has story info. So does Surjin near the exit to Muse Coast in the southwest.
The party Zooms to Muse Coast - Cat Island Pier.
Muse Coast (time 10:18):
The party talks to Margil at G-7 at the southeastern ferry and gets a ride to Cat Island.
Cat Island (time 10:47):
The party starts at the pier at C-1 in the northwest. There are a lot of cat monsters here, including Catulas and Clawcerers. Hussar is a warrior with a greatsword. His spin attack, Helichopter, hits all enemies in a group.
West of the pier, a red chest at B-1 contains 3 bags of Kitty Litter.
Heorot reaches Thief Level 25 and earns 2 skill points. The player earns the accolade Item Master for reaching Thief Level 25.
At C-2/C-3, the party takes the path to the eastern loop. Be careful. There are tougher cats in that direction, including Jailcats.
At E-2/E-3, a red chest contains 3 pieces of Glimmergrass.
At the southeast end of the eastern loop, a red chest at F-4/F-5 contains 3 Supple Branches.
The party returns to the intersection at C-2/C-3 and continues south.
A red chest at C-3/C-4 contains Mini Medal #029.
East of the main path, a red chest at F-5 contains 3 Rippledrops.
In front of the door to the Giant Cats' Nest in the southeast, the party examines the crystal at F-8. This adds the destination Cat Island - Giant Cats' Nest to the Zoom Stone.
The party Zooms back to Julette.
Julette (time 22:06):
The party rests at the inn. They also deposit some gold at the bank. Then, they Zoom back to Cat Island - Giant Cats' Nest.
Cat Island (time 23:19):
The party enters the Giant Cats' Nest at F-8.
Giant Cats' Nest (time 23:38):
When the party enters the Giant Cats' Nest, a scene takes place with Heorot's new friends as well as a couple of new characters, Cat Mamma and Cat Riberio. Looks like someone has been a very bad kitty!
After the scene, it is boss time against Cat Riberio. Riberio is a pretty dangerous boss. He has a multiple-strike attack that can take out a character whose max HP is low. He also has an attack that can strike all party members and inflict knockdown.
Hussar is helpful with his greatsword attacks. If you have Fura, her partywide healing abilities are also useful. Daston can also be useful with Sap and Oomph. Unfortunately, Fura took the brunt of Riberio's multiple-strike attack, so I had to use that Yggdrasil Leaf from the Lord's Mansion in Azlan.
At the end of the battle, Cat Riberio provides 1,500 experience points and 1,500 gold. Daston reaches Level 23 and earns 3 skill points for a total of 11. Fura reaches Level 21. She learns the spell Midheal and earns 4 skill points.

This is video #054 in my gameplay series of The Outer Worlds for the Sony PlayStation 4. This is video 1 covering "Murder on Eridanos". The Outer Worlds is rated M for blood and gore, intense violence, and strong language.

Previously, the party wrapped up "Peril on Gorgon", the first DLC expansion. They completed the main quest "The Red Tape of Command" and negotiated a compromise between Olivia and Minnie Ambrose. Now, they will begin the second DLC expansion, "Murder on Eridanos". It begins with the main quest "No Night Without Stars", which becomes available when the player gains access to the Stellar Bay Landing Pad.
Unreliable:
The party resumes aboard the Unreliable. Davilas enters the cockpit. He talks to ADA and asks to see the aetherwave drama. Watching it completes the quest "No Night Without Stars".
After the cheesy serial, Administrator Ludovico from Rizzo's and Sedrick Kincannon from SubLight Underground on Eridanos contact the Unreliable. Constable Maria Keene joins the call. Davilas agrees to investigate the death of Halcyon Helen at the Eridanos Atmospheric Complex. This starts the second "Murder on Eridanos" main quest, "The Last Role of Halcyon Helen". The first objective is to travel to Eridanos, which is now a ship destination.
The player earns the trophy "The Mystery's Afoot" for receiving an invitation to Eridanos.
After a conversation with ADA, Davilas chats with his companions. Unfortunately, they have nothing new to say concerning the new job. Most of them had plenty to say about the Gorgon job.
Davilas uses the navigation terminal to fly to Eridanos. It bears a great resemblance to Saturn. He disembarks with Parvati and Felix.
Eridanos (time 13:49):
A cinematic plays as the Unreliable lands at Eridanos. The party gains control on the Luxury Landing Pad in front of the Grand Colonial Hotel. This concludes the objective to travel to Eridanos for "The Last Role of Halcyon Helen". The next objective is to speak to the bellhop.
The Eridanos Atmospheric Complex is a chain of "islands" held aloft by thrusters in the habitable portion of the gas giant's atmosphere. The Luxury Landing Pad is in the southeast of the central island, and the Grand Colonial Hotel is in the middle of the same island.
The party takes the lift down to the base of the landing pad. There, they meet Bellhop Norville from the hotel. He welcomes them on behalf of SubLight Salvage and Shipping Underground, or SLUG. This concludes the objective to speak to the bellhop for "The Last Role of Halcyon Helen". The next objective is to enter the Grand Colonial Hotel. The party starts by questioning Norville about the case.

Previously, the party carried out Quest 023 and raised Heorot's Fishing level limit to 30. They continued fishing, and Heorot reached Fishing Level 24. For reaching this level, he earned the Thorny Lure from Fishing Master Harmos. The party will now continue fishing in the South Velinard Region.
Rendoa South (time 0:28):
The party resumes at the church in the Port Town Rendoa South. They chat with Fishing Master Harmos at D-4/D-5 to see his latest fish requests and the upcoming rewards. The next rod is available at Fishing Level 27. Looks like Harmos wants a couple of familiar types of fish. The party will have to try to catch them.
The party Zooms to the West Velinard Region.
West Velinard Region (time 3:45):
The party arrives at the crystal by the Mirena Coast pier at A-6/B-6 in the southwest. They take the southeastern exit at G-6 to the South Velinard Region.
South Velinard Region (time 5:32):
The party arrives in the southwestern part of the South Velinard Region. They do their fishing at C-8. That new Thorny Lure is pretty nice when it prevents damage, especially when Heorot is trying to reel in a Whale Shark.
Heorot reaches Fishing Level 25.
The party lands a king-size Whale Shark during their fishing session.
They use a new Double Bubble when their current one expires.
Heorot reaches Fishing Level 26. It looks like his chances of hooking big-size fish increases.
When the party has finished fishing in this area, they Zoom to the Sarmali Plateau.
Sarmali Plateau (time 49:28):
The party arrives at the crystal at H-5. They go to the river at G-4 and fish up one of the types of fish that Harmos wants, a Paradise Fish - White (ゴクラクギョ・白).
When they have finished, they Zoom to the Port Town Rendoa South.
Rendoa South (time 52:45):
The party reports to Fishing Master Harmos at D-4/D-5. They give him a couple of requested fish types for extra fishing experience points and fish tokens: a Paradise Fish - White (ゴクラクギョ・白) and a Footballfish (チョウチンアンコウ). They sell the rest of their fish to Picho for fish tokens.
The party saves at the church. They will continue fishing next time.

Previously, the party concluded the Dancer vocation quest line with Quest 205. Then, they went to the Heart of Hades for more grinding, and Heorot reached Dancer Level 48. Now, they will carry out the quest to unlock the last vocation available in the base game, Gadabout.
Glen (time 0:28):
The party resumes in the church in Glen Castle Town. They go outside and Zoom to the Muse Island - Cat Island Pier destination.
Muse Island (time 3:31):
On the pier to Cat Island, the party turns east and talks to Weave, a turquoise-haired human at G-7. At his offer, he gives them a canoe ride to the Playhouse (遊びハウス).
Playhouse (time 3:55):
The Playhouse occupies a small sandy island. The party talks to Lucci on the front porch at D-4. Lucci issues Quest 206: "Modern Player". The prerequisite is to reach Level 50 in any vocation. The first objective is to step on a banana peel in the town of Julette.
When the party has finished snooping around the island and the house, which are disappointingly empty of treasure, they Zoom to Julette.
Julette (time 8:20):
In the circle at G-6, the party examines the banana peel. Heorot chooses to step on it and take a pratfall. Why couldn't we do this on the sandy beach? Anyway, this triggers a scene with Lucci. The next objective is to defeat Clawcerers in Muse Coast to obtain five Cat Palm Fruits.
The party exits south at C-7 to Muse Coast.
Muse Coast (time 11:15):
In the southeast portion of the map, the party targets Clawcerers (ジャガーメイジ). Each drops a Cat Palm Fruit.
The party even encounters a couple of Metal Slimes in a battle (time 14:32).
After the party has defeated five Clawcerers and obtained five Cat Palm Fruits, they obtain the Set of Cat Palm Fruits (ネコヤシの実) key item. The next objective is to deliver them to Lucci at the Playhouse.
At the Cat Island Pier, they talk to Weave at G-7 and takes a ride to the Playhouse.
Playhouse (time 16:30):
The party talks to Lucci on the front porch at D-4. When they hand over the Cat Palm Fruits, a cutscene sequence take place. It's a party to welcome the newest Play Club member, Heorot himself. What fun!
In the morning, the party talks to Lucci on the front porch at D-4 again. Quest 206 complete! Heorot earns the Gadabout/Goof-off (遊び人) vocation. The party earns a Bronze Skill Up Panel (スキルアップパネル・銅).
Now, to start leveling Heorot up as a Gadabout. The party Zooms to Megistris City.
Megistris (time 21:19):
In the pub on the lower level of the city, the party talks to the Alltrades priest. Heorot changes his vocation to Level 1 Gadabout. Gadabout can equip swords, knives, hammers, boomerangs, and shields. It can also fight barehanded with Fisticuffs. It does not gain access to spells, but the Gadabout skill does gain access to some helpful universal stat boosts. At Level 1, Heorot starts with the Gadabout trait Capricious, which has a random chance to make him perform a random action after he takes the ordered action.
Heorot equips the Flametang Boomerang, a Spider Shield +3, the Angel Slime Hat, Storyteller's Clothes Upper and Lower, and a couple of accessories.
The party goes outside and Zooms to the Landon Mountain Summit Path.
Landon Mountain Summit Path (time 23:39):
The party goes to the Summit. They talk to Fifi at H-2 for transport to the Heart of Hades.
Heart of Hades (time 24:08):
The party begins grinding on the First Island. They use a Double Bubble and a Metal Perfume.
After a battle, Heorot jumps to Gadabout Level 12. He learns the Gadabout trait Deftness +10 at Level 4 and the ability Play (おそぶ) at Level 8. He earns 15 skill points for a total of 15. Under Swords, Heorot spends 1 point on the ability Flame Slash (かえん斬り), 2 points on Critical Rate +0.5% with a sword equipped, 2 points on Critical Rate +0.5%, 7 points on the ability Falcon Slash (はやぶさ斬り), and 2 points on Attack Power +3.
The player earns the accolades "I Like to Play" for reaching Gadabout Level 5, "Event Regular" for reaching Gadabout Level 10, "Sword User" for picking up 2 nodes on the Sword skill panel, and "Swordsman" for picking up 4 nodes.

Previously, the party continued job grinding in the southwestern corner of the ocean to earn the achievement for mastering all jobs. They will now wrap it up.
Merged World - World Map:
The party resumes in the southwestern ocean. They continue grinding.
Lenna and Krile reach Dancer Level 3 and master "Equip Ribbons". They have now mastered the Dancer job, as well as every job in the game. With this accomplished, they have also mastered the Freelancer job.
The player earns the achievement "Management Laborer" for mastering all jobs. This only has to be done on one character, apparently. The player earns the achievement "Master of V" for earning all achievements in Final Fantasy V.
Lenna changes her job to Mime. She equips "!White Magic Lv. 6", "!Summon Lv. 5", and !Attack. Krile changes her job to Mime. She equips "!Time Magic Lv. 6", "!Black Magic Lv. 6", and !Mix. Bartz equips "!Spellblade Lv. 6" in place of "!White Magic Lv. 6".
Bartz and Faris reach Mime Level 1 and master !Mimic. They have now mastered the Mime job, as well as every job in the game. With this accomplished, they have also mastered the Freelancer job.
Bartz changes his job to Freelancer and equips !Mug and "!Spellblade Lv. 6". Faris changes her job to Freelancer and equips !Mug and "!Blue Magic". Lenna equips !Mix in the place of !Attack.
The party flies back to the Castle of Bal and enters the castle.
Castle of Bal (time 42:37):
The party rests at the inn. Then, they leave the castle.

The party saves.

At the southern edge at C-8, they equip the Angel's Lure and begin fishing. The Whale Sharks (ジンベエザメ) are tough. They tend to psyche up and then retreat. But they are well worth catching. The Dragon Fish (リュウグウノツガイ) are a bit rarer and offer even higher experience. The Angel's Lure is invaluable for reeling both types of fish in. Of course, the nearly worthless Jellyfish are also here.
The party uses a new Double Bubble when their current one expires.
Heorot reaches Fishing Level 20.
The party even reels in a king-size Jellyfish. Be still, my beating heart.
When their Double Bubble expires, the party uses another.
The party reels in a treasure chest. They obtain Mini Medal #144, counting the 20 Heorot has exchanged so far.
Heorot reaches Fishing Level 21.
The party Zooms to Port Town Rendoa South.
Rendoa South (time 1:05:41):
The party visits Picho at D-4/D-5 and turns in their latest haul of fish for fish tokens.
Then, they save at the church. They will continue fishing next time.
