Full Demo! Fantastic bit of science here - you will love it. I predicted some good receive ability - but I wasn't prepared for this. What else can we do to improve it again? Maybe we should transmit through it too! Please let me know what you think! Here's the links:

Great tip for getting stealthy height for your wire antennas. Particularly useful for folks who don't have trees strategically placed. Aluminium Scaffold Tubes slip inside Sail Board / Wind Surf Masts. Then you can paint to suit. Cheap, economical and structurally sound.
Background: My name is Callum, callsign M0MCX. The whole DX Commander brand was a bit of an "accident" since I already have 2 day-jobs (I own a couple of tech companies).
Everything I make, I use myself. My products are the answer to *my* problems so I made stuff that worked for me. I don't make gear that doesn't work and although I'm considered not short of a few dollars, I love the idea of making things economical, easy to build and as efficient as you can achieve on a tight budget (hey, I hate wasting money!).
My store is here: https://www.m0mcx.co.uk/store/products/ and I ship (almost) worldwide.
Russia seems to be too expensive however EU, USA, Canada and VK land still make my products economical when you include shipping.
Hey. Did you know that you can help the others here by contributing your time to closed caption subtitles here: https://www.youtube.com/timedtext_cs_panel?tab=2&c=UCEWRZEIjVQB8aUkyUQ-g-zA
Enjoy your radio folks. Good luck. Callum. M0MCX.

Finally, the results are in. I don't think I could be more delighted and I can't wait to move so that I can have my very own in the new antenna field. As discussed, here is the cut chart as used in this video:
80m - up 17.2m - back 4.83m and then a little loop of 10cm (22.13m in total)
60m - 12.86m plus a loop for the carabiner of 6cm
40m - 9.81m plus a loop for the carabiner of 6cm
30m - 6.82m plus a loop for the carabiner of 6cm
20m - 4.86m plus a loop for the carabiner of 11cm (you could probably do 4.88 + 6cm JUST like Classic)
17m - 3.81m plus a loop for the carabiner of 5cm
Changing Frequency by 50kHz (cut for higher freq / extend for lower frequency):
80m - changing the frequency of the linear loaded return is not same as changing the overall length. 50cm will move frequency by 50kHz.
60m - 12cms will move resonance by 50 kHz
40m - 6.87cms changes the resonant frequency by 50kHz
20m - 1.75cms required for change of 50kHz
17m - You only need to change the length by 1cm to achieve change of 50kHz
80m WITH CB Band and 10m band:
Up 17.5m and back 7.2m (and then another small loop of 10cms for carabiner) - CLOSE SPACE the return wire, do not separate out.

So it turns out that the floor runs out by around 75mm (3 inches) which is more than I bargained for. We'll make up some wooden shims and lift the racking level. Next job :) Callum.

Some people say that PTT / Network Radio / Zello apps are no different to Echolink, also a VoIP based system. Incorrect. They are fundamentally - and completely different. This is my argument:
