America's long retreat from its founding principles may seem alarming. But the good news is that a growing number of heroic individuals from all walks of life are standing up against the encroaching tyranny. In this episode of Beyond the Cover, host Gary Benoit interviews senior editor Rebecca Terrell about a column entitled “Faith, Family, Freedom” that she and others write for the print edition of The New American. That column, Rebecca explains, originally had as its working title “Standing Up for Faith, Family, and Freedom,” when the column was conceived the in January of 2022. The title was shortened because of its length, but the idea is to recognize and salute a few of the many wonderful Americans who are standing up for faith, standing up for family, and standing up for freedom in their words and deeds. In this interview, Rebecca cites examples of ordinary citizens in various walks of life who are doing extraordinary things, and she also says that researching and writing the column over the past year has been a great source of inspiration for her.

In this interview with The New American magazine's Senior Editor Alex Newman, Cornwall Alliance founder Calvin Beisner explains how Christians should think biblically about the environment and stewardship. After exposing the "climate change" agenda and its dangerous religious undertones, Cal argues that those who truly care about saving the planet and protecting the environment must support biblical principles such as private property and free markets, as history and experience prove.

In this interview with The New American, Dr. Ryan Cole discusses the recent update to RedCross’s policy related to blood donations: potential donors may be disqualified for ever being vaccinated against Covid. Dr. Cole revealed that he has observed that unvaccinated patients who received blood transfusions experienced blood clotting. The latter is caused by spike proteins generated by people’s own cells. As all of the mRNA Covid injections were found to be contaminated with DNA plasmids that can integrate with the human genome, cells became permanent factories of spike protein, causing systemic clotting. Studies on the long-term side effects related to blood and other systems and organs in the human body were never performed, and RedCross appears to be aware of the real dangers posed by the vaccinated blood. Other related topics discussed included self-replicating Covid vaccines; studies showing that as many as five percent of all vaccinated people experienced severe side effects and may have their genome permanently affected; and Covid vaccinations of young children, which Dr. Cole called criminal; the ignorance and compliance of physicians who are encouraging Covid vaccinations.

The Biden administration is dedicated to making sure that pesky First Amendment doesn’t get in the way of its propaganda campaigns. On Monday, the administration filed an emergency stay with the 5th U.S. District Court of Appeals to suspend a federal judge’s ruling from last week, a ruling that ordered government officials not to contact social-media companies.
Other stories in today’s show include: Evanston, Illinois, is the first U.S. city to begin doling out reparations money; farmers, legislators, and attorneys came together in Iowa over the weekend to rally against carbon-capture pipelines and the globalists forces behind them; researchers in China claim that they’ve trained an Artificial Intelligence model to design a computer processor; and Sweden is finally going to get its wish of joining NATO.
In the second half of the show, Christian Gomez interviews Selwyn Duke about SCOTUS’ recent affirmative-action ruling, and Gary Benoit and Steve Bonta discuss the benefits of republicanism.

Plutarch wrote, 'An imbalance between rich and poor is the oldest and most fatal ailment of all republics.' Is such an imbalance happening in America now? And, since Covid is exaggerating the de-coupling of Wall Street from Main Street, how does this bode for our republic?

In this interview with The New American, Dr. Peter Navarro, former Trump economic advisor, shares his perspective on a potential Democratic strategy for the 2024 presidential election. He suggests that the Democratic establishment is dissatisfied with Joe Biden's chances of winning against Donald Trump and explores the idea of a dream ticket featuring Michelle Obama and California Governor Gavin Newsom.
Dr. Navarro proposes a scenario in which Biden runs uncontested during the primaries but is then forced to step down before the Democratic National Convention in August. This strategy, as outlined by Navarro, aims to avoid a contentious primary race and prevent the presentation of extreme positions to the American electorate. The interview also delves into the possibility of Biden pardoning his family members, Hunter Biden and James Biden, and securing his legacy. Certainly, such a strategy would bypass the traditional vetting process for candidates and must be countered.
Additionally, Dr. Navarro addresses the actions of "Republicans in Name Only" (RINOs) against Donald Trump and provides insights into potential running mates for Trump.
Finally, Navarro urges Americans to take action in defense of the United States against the radical Democrats who are destroying the economy, society, political system, borders, and national security.

Libertarians who truly believe in the non-aggression principle should support legal protections for the right to life of unborn children, argued author Kerry Baldwin with the Libertarian Christian Institute in this interview with The New American magazine's Alex Newman. Speaking from FreedomFest in Memphis, Baldwin explained that libertarianism is based on two principles: self-ownership and non-aggression. Using those two as a guide, Kerry argues that because a fetus is a person who owns him or herself, he or she has the right not to be aggressed against, including in abortion. Baldwin, co-author of the book Faith Seeking Freedom that deals with these topics, also argued that in her view, libertarianism is the political philosophy that most closely aligns with the Christian faith.
