PSA Nightmares: Internet Watch Foundation #pedomagnet
There is a term on the internet for someone who makes it super easy for pedophiles to find them by drawing attention to themselves. The term is Pedo Magnet or if you're west of the Mississippi they're known as Chomo Magnet. Here's how you don't end up a Pedo Magnet. Don't take sexy pics for men on the internet when you're not even old enough to take your driving test yet, don't be dressing sexy when you're 12 and FFS if some Chomo tries to touch you where you don't want, run. Do this and you'll not end up a Pedo magnet ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvvDXPMfQyY
Drypers are the 3rd best selling brand of baby diapers. So, them doing a PSA in Puerto Rico to stop teen pregnancy is kinda confusing. That would be like Pampers doing a teen pregnancy PSA. Aren’t these diaper brands wanting new mom’s business? Seems kinda counterproductive. Also, if you have a belly ring while pregnant that shiz isn’t cute

First PSA from Paraguay and it is brilliant. Personal, a cell service provider in Paraguay came up with the idea that since most kids in private and public schools literally have no access to the internet, let alone libraries. Personal decided to come out with a phone number namely *1811 to provide Paraguayans with history in Spanish and Guarani when you call. If you can't call because you don't live in the country, they've also spanked these episodes on Spotify for all to listen to

Usually when it comes to using celebrities in PSAs, they do it in a classy way. Partnership For A Drug America did this well but Ministério da Saúde do Brasil, kinda fucked it up. Smoking cigarettes wasn’t just the main reason these jazz artists died. You have to remember, back in the 20s jazz era most jazz singers would smoke a ton of weed. Like, the amount of weed jazz singers smoked would make Snoop Dogg look like a fucking amateur. That's why blunts are often called jazz cigarettes

Man, this story is fucked up. So, Maria Leopoldina of Austria, former empress of Brazil was married to Pedro I emperor of Brazil who was kind of a wifebeater. Like, he was Bobby Brown beating Whitney Houston bad. Leopoldina was abused yet that scumbag of a husband is revered as a hero in Brazil. Then again, Pedro I makes Ike Turner look like Mickey fucking Mouse

The Mega Man cartoon is a sad case indeed. This cartoon translated the Mega Man games to cartoon form very well. This cartoon was made by Ruby Spears aka the company that did Cowboys of Moo Mesa and the rare Dragon's Lair cartoon and Ashi Productions aka the people that did Magical Princess Minky Momo Hold on to Your Dreams. The rights to the show are now in the hands of Wildbrain, the people who bring you stuff such as Yo Gabba Gabba and many of the PBS Kids cartoons in rotation. It needs to come back to tv. When G4 does make a return to television, I want them to bring this show with them

This PIF man, it is fucking awful. It's a man slowly dying from brain cancer and I did not have a fun time watching this crap, let alone watch it. it's so bad, YouTube tried to get rid of it. Sad part is, this PIF is based on a true story. Greg Sims, a father from Victoria, Australia was dying of brain cancer so he had to go through the same shizz as the man in the PIF. https://www.gogentleaustralia.org.au/nia_sims Greg's daughter Nia gave permission to tell her dad's story but be warned, this will mess you up as it is weapons grade feels

This is what you came for, isn’t it? The crappy PSAs? This PSA from Chile is kinda odd. It's styled like a crap infomercial product from the 90s, yet it's about saving kids from abuse. Odd fucking choice of ad style and charity in question

I know some of you in the audience are wondering why the fuck am I showing you this PSA. Well, this is Jesse Corti. He's a famous actor and Broadway singer. He played LeFou in Beauty and The Beast. Well, this PSA is about how his wife Laura died because of someone who was high on weed. Yup, he's referring to the 1987 Maryland train collision. The crew of that train ride were so ripped on weed that they failed to stop at signals. The train crashed into another locomotive killing 14 people including the engineer and the lounge car attendant. Jesse Corti's wife was on that train. Do you see now why he did this PSA? That backstory made this PSA more of a nightmare than it needs to be
