Today on Pseudo Cinema, because the popularity of Godzilla vs. Kong, we decided to watch, react to and review the 1976 King Kong mockbuster from South Korea APE. This is one of many films that tried to capitalize on the 1976 remake of King Kong South Korea not only puts out critically acclaimed movies. It also makes some pretty awful ones like this as well. Razzies calls it one of the top 100 enjoyably bad movies. This shlock features all the tropes of a mockbuster, including mentioning the movie its copying.
