Sennheiser MD435 Review / Test (Vs. SM58, E835, sE V7, D5, M88 TG, MD445, and More)
Today I review the brand new microphone from Sennheiser, the MD435. This is a handheld dynamic microphone that does a great job at background noise rejection and handling noise rejection. The mic tone is very bright and offers some nice shimmer to singing vocals, but for spoken word I personally think the boost in the top end is a bit too much.

Today I review a wireless gaming microphone, the Mod Mic Wireless. Full disclosure, this was sent to me by Antlion in order to conduct this review. This mic has great wireless functionality, but in the sound department I think it’s a step backwards from the Mod Mic 4 and 5. This loses all the body that was so appealing in the wired mics from Antlion, and the capsule seems extremely easy to overload. I think if you can get by with a wired gaming mic, you should go with the Mod Mic 4 or Mod Mic 5, they sound a LOT better. But if you absolutely NEED a wireless mic, this does still sound better than many gaming headset’s audio.

Today I review a large diaphragm condenser mic from sE Electronics; the sE 2200a II C. This mic has a relatively flat frequency response, which is great. It will give you a more accurate to life representation of what you're recording, but you will likely need to do some post processing to shape the tone you want. It also has a -10dB pad and a low cut filter which rolls off around 60Hz. All around it sounds great for the price if you’re looking for a neutral & uncolored mic.

Today we’re looking at a mic from a normally budget company, the Behringer B-2 Pro. This is one of Behringer’s higher end microphones, and it is pretty decent sounding for music. It has multiple polar patterns (cardioid, omni, figure-8), and a large treble and air boost that will provide you a lot clarity, and can make your vocals sound a bit breathier than normal.
