The music that plays when you're making your own levels in the editor. Relaxing and yet a little bumbling, my hope it's something easy to listen to but also easy to ignore when playing around with your own stages.
Revision of the second fortress. An exercise in excess spikes and filled to the brim with enemies that can't be killed with conventional attacks, the place is simply not all that welcoming to Mario.

Clouds do not get the love they deserve in Mario Maker 2 and I hope this level shows off some of their utility. Crazy jumps, bomb triggers, and switch games alike are all possible under a consistent and reliable cloud machine. Objects placed in clouds have 100% predictable movement and, in an autoscroll, are100% controllable by the creator too. Useful for expert traditional stages as well as Kaizo shenanigans, once you understand how the cloud behavior works.

Some trivia: This was the second to last level I made, created mostly to demonstrate to players that a hijack shot will pass through an awakened chaser. Prior to adding this level it seemed a little unfair that players needed prior knowledge of an otherwise obscure trick in order to complete a later level in the game. So this level was conceptualized to solve that problem.

The path to the Big Boo Boss in the remade Forest Ghost House. The challenge is navigating one of the boo blocks to be at a perfect place under a floating door. From there, it's just a series of platform hops over green bubbles and pits until to reach the battle.

Beware of the watchers. If they see you, you may not be able to proceed...
Watchers along with chasers are one of my two primary enemies used to change the state of a maze once you collect all the keys. But where the blue chasers will harass you for the remainder of the level, blue watchers will block off certain routes if you manage to step into their line of sight. Both are very useful enemies for steering the player to collecting keys in a certain order, and requiring someone to think out how to approach a maze before they start to solve it.

The secret exit to the now flooded Donut Secret House.
I've generally stopped uploading videos for my hack since it's been out for a bit and most of the hard levels have videos demonstrating how to complete them. However, if I find there's enough confusion or difficulty over a particular level or sequence that I have not covered, I have no problem making a video showing how to complete it.

This level. Oh this level. Do you know those bonus stages in Professor Layton that basically provide no clues with the hint coins because the puzzle is just too complicated to explain? That is what it felt like trying to write Droia's Tips for this level.
Anyway, welcome to level 7-9, or level 69. It is not very nice. This is a very difficult open ended puzzle where you need to control both the shadow and yourself to raise and lower the barriers with the purple and teal switches while being aware of the lasers closing off your paths. Trying to solve this puzzle purely through trial and error is a fool's errand. I highly recommend you have a plan ready to grab each key so you can quickly race to the goal at the end. Those chasers can easily pin you with poor planning.
There is a way to grab the medal while activating the top laser by the way. It involved grabbing the far left key without defeating the fire trall. But it is a little tedious and technical so I omitted it from Droia's Tips.
Point of trivia: This level took me over three weeks in order to design its first draft, and I actually forgot the medal solution afterwards during testing. Took me over a year before I finally had a final copy of this stage where I was satisfied everything worked as intended. This was easily the level I spent the most time making.

The final level of world one. Make use of both your fire and wall phasing powers to solve the left and right sides and make your way to the exit. If you remember everything you learned from earlier in the world, you will clear this level without much difficulty.
