A sad tale of parting - something that was very common in days gone by. No phones, no contact for years sometimes. Just "kind letters" which is kind of romantic really
I spotted a big black cloud as I was driving along some country lanes at the back end of summer last year. Such clouds always remind me of the line in this song "There's a heavy storm arising, see how it gathers round" (though the clouds were not so visible here)
I also got distracted by the dogs in the car looking like they may try jumping out the window for a run and we were quite close to the road.
Must post some of my outtakes one day!
This was near Southwell in Nottinghamshire. I think they are called Oxton woods there in the background
