Despite his claims that he "aches" to debate leftists, Denis Prager won't debate Ana Kasparian. And this time he can't hide behind his normal excuses.

Ben Burgis hosts Derek Davison and Daniel Bessner of the American Prestige podcast, and they discuss the amazing decision-making on the part of the U.S. that went into declining the Taliban’s attempted surrender to U.S. Armed Forces in 2001 shortly after the U.S. invaded Afghanistan.

Ben Burgis begins this segment by playing a clip of Kyle Kulinski debating Charlie Kirk at Politicon. Charlie Kirk says something about free market blah blah blah, and then Kulinski asks him if Jeff Bezos, who could easily end homelessness (period) for veterans should be taxed to do so. Kirk says he hopes that Bezos would do so willingly. Which is laughable, because Bezos has done no such thing, and begins the discussion among the panel including Nando Vila of Jacobin’s “Weekends,” and Jason Myles of “This Is Revolution.”

A lot of people who don't love capitalism might still worry about the way revolutions can go very, very wrong. In the crumbling Russian Empire a little over a hundred years ago, the Bolsheviks came to power on a platform "land, peace and bread" and "all power to" democratically elected workers councils...and ended up with an authoritarian and often economically dysfunctional one-party state where working-class people had fewer right in some ways than their counterparts in Western Europe. What went wrong, and what lessons might still be relevant for those of us who still dream of a pot-capitalist future?
A power panel of Varn Vlog host C. Derrick Varn and This is Revolution crew members Mean Djene Bajalan and "Deep State" Kuba join Ben Burgis to wrestle with these question. And of course we'll fuck around in the postgame for GTAA patrons.

Ben is joined by Nora Barrows-Friedman from The Electric Intifada for an update on what's happening in Palestine. The last few weeks have seen a drastic escalation as settler colonialists from Israel continue to take Palestinian land and homes and a video went viral of "Settler Jacob," a man who appears to be from Brooklyn, who has stolen a Palestinian woman's land. This was followed by days of violence in Gaza including Israel bombing a residential building that contained media offices including the AP and Al Jazeera. Of course, the pandemic has made the disparities in Palestine even worse as Israel continues to deny Palestinians vaccines.

Ben Burgis has new producer Jake Appet of Jacobin and J. Andrew World on to watch a PragerU video that attempts to allow an American CEO to lay claim to the “good” parts of capitalism and socialism and define them as capitalism and then define anything that doesn’t benefit capitalists as harmful to everyone in a society.

Before that, Ben and the GTAA crew will watch some of a bizarre-even-by-the-standards-of-Alex-Jones conversation about hive minds and "the AI agenda" between evil clown Alex Jones, enemy-of-lizard-people David Icke, and a voice that may or may not be Elon Musk. Last but not least, Ethan from the Confronting Capital channel and Victor Bruzzone will be joining us in the postgame for patrons to watch some Ben Shapiro inanity. Should be a fun episode all around.
