Showing you my Chinese brushes that I use a lot in my watercolours. They are affordable and give you a fluid way of painting. The only annoying thing is that they loose hairs look beyond that. I am using a mustard yellow mix burnt sienna, yellow and cerulean blue then apply the colour, make sure the paper is moist apply paint slightly thicker over the ethereal woodland backdrop.

I’m mixing vermillion into the yellow gamboge and burnt sienna then apply with a Chinese hake on wet paper in areas where you want the colour. If you have small puddles on your paper just tip it across never use tissue in this technique.
