1996 Dover Impulse Hydraulic Elevator at a Days Inn
Don't remember the location of this one, but oh well. It was key carded anyway.
Though a simple 3 Story Hydro elevator, I like these. It runs smoothly, but it does need some cleaning on the inside. You may also recognize the down chime from the intro in this elevator as well, but this is the elevator I used for my Dover Impulse Intro!

For 6/9 day, I decided to check in on this Traditionally Boring elevator outside of an office building. Me and JacksonSlater were meaning to film this when we met up, but unfortunately it was locked behind a closed gate.
If you remember this back in the day, this cab had a major door problem in which the door immediately shuts after it opens, not giving the rider enough time to enter. The 2nd time I've filmed this, it started to run like a piece of shit.
Now we come to the modern day, the first time I've checked in on this elevator it was broken down, lol. This time though, it was working again and it looks like a lot of improvements were made.
For one, this thing rides a lot better than and the second part is that the door operator is finally fixed and gives the rider time to enter the elevator. Yeah sure, it's still a basic cab and the fact that the outside window was painted over is stupid, but I'm glad this isn't an impatient piece of crap anymore. Let's hope it stays this way.

Oh boy, another one!
This one is a bit interesting though as it's a 2005 Install! I've never seen a S1 installed that late past 2003, so this was different. But then again, it's just another Series 1.

Okay, I like 3300's, but this is just ridiculous. A Regular 3300 for 8 FLOORS! WTF!
This doesn't run great either. A 5500 would've been a better choice.

Wow, this came not too long after the main surprise, which will be unveiled tomorrow!
Prior to the one I found on 7/11, this was only my 2nd "NEL". Unlike the other one in Asheville Commons, this one is a lot noisier and a little bouncy. Not the best running thing, but could be a lot worse. With that being said, this was a neat surprise!

The testing date said 1987, which likely mean these Schindler Walkways replaced an older set around the 1990's. Sorry for the crappy audio and take, I kinda had no choice at the time.

Only one statement can sum up this cab, ?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️?️!
This is jackpot 2 out of 3! I was worried at first since I saw the Innovation Universal Call Panel, but thankfully, the Cab is mostly original with Montgomery A Series! This is my first ever A Series and it's pretty nice! The Cab Buttons look very similar to other fixtures like Adam's, but have a very interesting push, too interesting considering the close door button is hard to push. This thing is also very bell happy as well!
Besides the Innovation Universal Call Panel on the Main Floor and the Innovation Fire Service Slap On, everything else is original to the Elevator, which includes the OG Call Buttons on the other 2 Floors. Overall, a very nice first impression!

While browsing NC records, it was noted that this YMCA had a 1997 U.S. Elevator here. I was praying it was a Soft Touch, and that is what I got! This is the one near the highway.
Sure, some buttons were replaced with TK Aurora buttons and a white EMR? (on the 2nd Floor Call Panel not shown) one, plus the Latern and Indicator doesnt work. But this is still a rather good Elevator. Condition is fine for the most part and it runs pretty well. Usually, US has shitty maintenance and sometimes machinery quality on their elevators, so it's good that this is not one of them! I just wish the indicator and the lantern worked.

I apologize about the lighting, but it's nothing I can really fix. So I found this Series 1 through the power of DoorDash, and it was a special one, one dedicated to TJElevatorFan!
I think this is fitting I randomly found this considering I've filmed several bit of elevators that only he has filmed so far! You'll see that in several of my videos from Late 2020 and a few more coming soon!
Besides the cool dedication to the Elevator done by the people here, this is just a good Elevator Overall. It runs well for the most part, has a nice design, and some buttons light up red! The door is kinda slow though. Regardless, I hope they never mod this.

This was a brand new hotel I had stayed at near the Raleigh University area, and it had these suckers!
These are some very nice Schindlers that ride very smoothly and look very clean. It doesn't have the fresh smell like that 3300 XL at that one apartment building, but it's still a good set of Elevators regardless!
