My next door neighbor knocked on my door a few minutes ago. His truck was stolen from his driveway this morning before dawn. The same thieves stole a firearm from a vehicle on another nearby street last night also, according the the cop I spoke to. This is the same neighbor who just the other day came over and cleaned out my chimney and my gutters and refused to accept any payment. He is a good man, a hard working business owner, and doesn't deserve this. These thieves have been terrorizing our neighborhood for a long time and the local cops seem incapable or unwilling to track them down and stop it. As of last night, they have become ARMED thieves. I will take this information into account when/if I encounter one of them on my property. Fair warning.
