After recruiting Princess Timera and adding the Ring of the Radiant Hero to our arsenal, Alear and crew take a break from the main story and try their luck in the Tower of Trials! The Tower of Trials consists of three different types of trials: Tempest Trials, Relay Trials, and Outrealm Trials. Tempest Trials involve a series of consecutive battles with different maps to choose from, with crystals for upgrading your Emblem weapons as rewards. Relay Trials involve you and a partner cooperating to take down an enemy army on a map. Outrealm Trials involve you fighting another player's army controlled by AI. So not quite PvP, but close. It's like fighting other players around Splatsville in Tableturf mode in Splatoon 3 (at least until the Tableturf PvP update comes out). For my first foray into the Tower of Trials, let's do a Tempest Trial at level 20 in the Verdant Plains.
