Playthrough Part 1: Sumeragi Futures Institute of Technology ~ Dragon Slayer
Surprised huh? I don't know if many of you remember but back in 2014 or so, I covered Azure Striker Gunvolt. But that was when it had it's translation simplified. I would ultimately do it again but it's in the way it should be. I even did the sequel in 2016, first on 3DS and then years later on the Switch. 3DS has more of an advantage for one reason: the exclusive Paradise Lost attack the final boss had. And so we waited for the inevitable third game. Luminous Avenger iX kept us busy, both games, actually. But the wait is over. We have arrived. Welcome to Azure Striker Gunvolt 3.
If you were expecting the story to occur after the secret ending in Gunvolt 2, prepare for immense disappointment. The story now takes place DECADES after the events of the second game. You play as Kirin, a battle priestess who works for the Shadow Yakuno. She's ordered to investigate the facility only for her to encounter some sort of large beast. It's known as a Primal Dragon. Much of this is a tutorial to get used to her skills and abilities. I'll say it right here. She's pretty fun.
But after the boss fight, we find out who that Primal Dragon was... it's Gunvolt. When I found out, a part of me is shocked but also angry. It has me wondering what happened to GV since the second game. I thought he was happy with having a new girlfriend but it turns out that GV exhibited some sort of strange force that caused his power to go out of control. In doing so, he ended up hurting Quinn so he left her and decided to surrender himself to Sumeragi. As such, he was sealed away for decades using Glaives to keep his primal form at bay. With the help of Kirin's fetters, Gunvolt's primal dragon form has been sealed but now must assume the form of a wolf. It really feels like a slap in the face to Gunvolt and his character. What the hell Inti Creates?!
But yeah, this is how things are. He along with Kirin work for Sumeragi, becoming the Dragon Slayers. Yep. Power Rangers trope huh? Jeezus.
Either way, we're heading into Downtown Christmas in Part 2.

Remember when I did Chrono Trigger for the Nintendo DS? Well, Square-Enix has decided to remaster it's sequel along with adding something that was exclusive to Japan. This is Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. It consists of Chrono Cross, that has been remastered, and Radical Dreamers, a text-based visual novel game that served to set up to Chrono Cross.
In terms of Chrono Cross, the game looks better and yes, you can also use the original sprites. However, you can't change the music which is a disappointment. But the game is interesting. It centers on a teen named Serge who ultimately learns that in another universe, he died. He teams up with a thief named Kid as they hope to find answers. But what they find is so much more as it ties into serious stuff, especially for those who played Chrono Trigger.
Give this a shot. I recommend playing it on the Switch because the PS4 and PC versions have issues.

Leo pays a visit to Senor Hueso only for him and Hueso to take a job for Capitan Piel. One last job so that Piel can retire. Piel wants to go the straight and narrow but Hueso isn't convinced. Leo joins in for a mediation in the hopes that the two can get along. If only that is as easy as it sounds.
This episode was awesome. It's a Leo-centered episode but it's more towards Hueso and his brother Piel. I love it. I love how a show puts their focus on other characters and honestly, we need more of it. The episode is without a doubt hilarious. It's awesome and it also made me laugh. Not to mention the arrival of Don Suave and it was needed to get them both out of the mess they were in. I hope that we get more episodes devoted to other characters cause that would be grand. This season I feel is getting a lot stronger than the first and I'm loving it.

Part 92: Star MAX Confidant (December 3rd - 9th)

Shido has been defeated but now the worst part has yet to come... the wait.
Waiting sucks but hey, at least we can use this opportunity to spend free time. In this case, I rather use my time to please my confidants and do activities. Not only that but we max the Star Confidant so that's taken care of. The only confidants that remain are the Fool, Faith and Magician. Fool and Magician happen during the story. The Faith will happen much later... and for good reason.
No timecodes this time. From here on out, we'll be flying through this. Part 93 will continue this on.

We're wrapping up the investigation and it's here where Gina finally lets us represent her in court.
Do you want to know what this all reminds me of? Turnabout Goodbyes. Why? Because it shares some similarities. In Turnabout Goodbyes, Nick wants to represent Edgeworth but he refuses. It isn't until later that Edgeworth relents and allows him to. Here it's the same way but it took more than Ryunosuke to do it. Susato and even Iris had to convince her. But it pays off and pays off it did. Damn. I thought she won't do it.
The trial awaits us in Part 6 and believe me, you don't want to miss this.

This is a sequel to the original Hunter X but this time, you play as a completely different character. It's a metroidvania and let me tell you, it also carries a hint of Souls-like in the mix. So yeah it's going to be a really interesting ride to say the least. I only cover a portion of the game, the first hour. I can say that the game is pretty good but also challenging as well.
I do recommend it and it's pretty fun.

Jupiter Jim needs a new sidekick and the Turtles are more than willing to take the job. But after a contest, it turns out that Raph wins, much to the dismay of his brothers. But when something goes wrong, it's up to the Turtles to rescue them. Can Jupiter Jim reunite with his former partner?
Won't lie. Never thought I would see Jupiter Jim again but it seems he had a falling out with his partner, Red Fox. He's in need of a new sidekick and the Turtles end up dragged into it. Although some parts are just hilarious to see like finding out that Raph wins instead of them. We do know what happened between Red Fox and Jim so it's nice that they were able to reunite the two. But my nitpick in this episode was Jupiter Jim. His ego and delusion are what caused this to begin with but at least the ending was good.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
Playthrough – Part 17: The Space Pirates' True Endgame
This is where my cleanup ends and for good reason.
The Pirate Homeworld doesn't have much but it's a pain in the butt just to find the remaining pickups. If you think I kid, just watch for yourself. Sadly if you are wondering about the remaining pickups, guess where they are at? The GFS Valhalla. I'm serious. There's a reason why we were seeking out those Energy Cells.
Now that we have all the remaining Energy Cells, Part 17 is where we fully explore the Valhalla and hopefully find out about the endgame of the Space Pirates. If you remember throughout this playthrough, we were collecting Energy Cells. There are a total of 9 Energy Cells and you need ALL 9 in order to not only reach the data you need but also get the items that are there: 3 Missiles, 1 Ship Missile and 1 Energy Tank. Once you get those and gotten everything else, you'll hit 100%.
Time for backstory now. Four months before the events of Prime 3, Space Pirates attacked the GFS Valhalla in the Klar Nebul. They were under a training exercise. Sadly they weren't prepared for it. The Space Pirates were brutal and a fierce battle ensued. Sadly however the crew didn't survive. The only thing the Space Pirates took was the Aurora Unit 313. Not to mention that they left behind valuable technology that had been stolen by the pirates. The ship was left adrift afterwards, overrun by creatures infused with Phazon, including Phazon Metroids.
Samus would end up visiting the Valhalla but it isn't until she obtains all the Energy Cells that she would learn the truth along with a final message from said Aurora Unit. She would also obtain the codes needed in order for the Galactic Federation to take control of the Leviathan Battleship. With code in hand, Samus returns to the Pirate Homeworld and uses it to control the Leviathan.
The final battle is near and Samus plans to work with the Federation Fleet to stop the menace of phazon once and for all. Next part's the finale.

Part 33 – The Golden Castle

Time to head for The Golden Castle itself.
In this mission, we must explore a golden castle that Tokichiro has created due to his riches and his influence. It's a golden castle that oozes the aura of the Spirit Stones.
Much of this mission is pretty much a boss rush against previous foes. My only advice for you is to prep yourself accordingly. Give it all you have any you will persevere. Don't be afraid to head to a shrine to restock if you want to prep more.
You will face against Enenra, the team of Mezuki and Gozuki, Yatsu-no-Kami and Kasha. Once you beat them all, you will face against Lady Osakabe. This boss fight will require you to use weapons like the Switchglaive. Also, pack a sake that will provide you elemental resistance. Your objective is to take out all four hairy tentacles. Once you do that, focus on the eye and deal major damage. You need to repeat the process two more times. The second time will send you into the dark world but the third one has you taking down two tentacles before going for the eye.
Once it's taken down, the two items you hold onto will form the blade that will help you take down the darkness.
Sub missions are upon us in Part 34.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Playthrough
Dark Side Story Finale
And here is where we reach the end of the Dark Side Story. Compared to the Hero Side Story, the Dark Side Story has 2 stages less than the Heroes. It made sense since their plan had a much bigger focus. Not to mention it also serves as the other side of the overall tale.
Basically Team Dark is now on the hunt for the last Chaos Emerald. Rouge and Shadow chase him down only for them to discover that he's heading for Eggman's Hidden Base. Eventually Sonic and the gang confront Eggman. He sics out the Egg Golem on Sonic and he's able to destroy the restraining bolt. Eggman is forced to take it down as Sonic and the gang head off to ARK. Meanwhile, Rouge discovers an interesting secret regarding Project Shadow and heads off to find the Master Emerald Shards. She confronts Knuckles and ultimately gives him the rest of the Shards.
Eggman eventually learns about the fake Chaos Emerald and decides to confront the Heroes himself. Things proceed as normal until Rouge is ready to take the Emeralds and Shadow confronts her. Turns out Rouge was a government spy and it's then that Rouge has the data on Project: Shadow. Before a battle can ensue, Eggman reports that he has the last Emerald and orders Shadow to go after someone who is trying to sabotage the Eclipse Cannon. He heads off, but not before warning Rouge not to take the Emeralds. Shadow ultimately confronts Sonic and after a battle, defeats him. Eggman, with the last Emerald inserts it into the device. With all 7 Emeralds, he's ready to achieve world domination... or is he?
Next part covers the last story and we'll see this through to the end.
