Every filmmaker and videographer needs steady and smooth shots. The most common way to achieve this is by using a tripod. I like Manfrotto's tripods best. They have a big selection of tripods for all types of productions and budgets. In this video I review two different models. One is an expensive model and the other a cheaper one. _____________________________

While doing work in Ecuador I dedicated a few minutes each day to get a shot of someone dancing to my new favorite song "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. This video is the end product. Shot the whole video on the Sony NEX5R camera with the kit lens 18-55mm on a CAME carbon fiber stabilizer/

Anamorphic lenses are generally very expensive – it’s something you rent, rather than buy. I have already done a comprehensive video about anamorphic lenses. In today’s video I talk about SLR Magic anamorphic lenses for MFT cameras, such as the Panasonic GH4 and GH5. These lenses are the most affordable option for real anamorphics (i.e not anamorphic adapters nor DIY solutions).

The big wild north… where adventure and danger await!
Synopsis:
A young boy goes on a weekend camping excursion. His cheerful uncle and aunt try to lift up his spirits, as the boy grieves and recuperates after a horrific accident.
The wilderness of the north, though, has its own secrets and dangers. What is meant to be a weekend diversion turns into an adventure worthy of a child’s imagination.

So, here are my thoughts on this camera slider:
- It’s a great slider that offers the most functionality in its price range.
- It allows you full control using the phone app. You can set it up really fast for a timelapse, stop motion or live recording.
- I also like that all the parts are really small, and the complete kit fits in the supplied backpack. Size is often overlooked, but having camera gear that is small and easy to travel with means you will use it more.
- The only negative I can say about this kit is that it can produce micro vibrations when the motorized slider is pushed to its limits. So, you definitely want to check your shots before you pack up and go home.
- If you are planning on using this slider for a whole day, or when doing a timelapse for a long period, then I would definitely recommend getting the USB battery adapter from iFootage. The Sony batteries are just too small to power this slider for a few hour-long timelapses. With the adapter, you can use big USB battery banks that last for more than a day.

Today I have another camera gimbal review, but I’m happy to say it’s not just another gimbal. A company called Fosicam, a newcomer in the market, has created a pistol-grip gimbal that improves, I think, on what other companies have done so far.
More info: https://goo.gl/E6ARGq
You can get the Fosicam FM1-45 3-axis camera gimbal on
eBay https://goo.gl/tdgT7F
Amazon http://amzn.to/2vzdiMD
Fosicam website https://goo.gl/vsv7HA
There are two features of this Fosicam gimbal that I really appreciate. The first one is that it has a slanted pitch motor, which means that the LCD on the back of the camera is not obstructed by the gimbal (as is usually the case).
The second very nice feature is a mode that offers roll follow, in addition to the standard pan and tilt follow. It’s the first gimbal that I’ve come across that has this feature.
My favorite camera gear! https://goo.gl/fSWk1X
