Four dim-witted men from the New Zealand National Air and Space Defense League arrive in a small New Zealand fishing town to investigate a report of landing UFO's and take on a batallion-sized army of aliens who have massacred the town's population as part of their plans to use humans as part of their main ingredient for their intergalactic fast-food chain.
Bad Taste is a 1987 New Zealand science-fiction comedy horror film directed, produced and photographed by Peter Jackson, who also stars and co-wrote the screenplay, along with Tony Hiles and Ken Hammon.
Independently produced on a low budget, it is Jackson's first feature film.
Jackson and friends take on most of the key roles, both on and off-screen.
The plotline sees aliens invade the fictional New Zealand village of Kaihoro to harvest humans for their intergalactic fast food franchise, where they face off against a four-man paramilitary force. It was a film that provided Jackson with the necessary leverage needed to advance in the industry.
Since its release, Bad Taste has become a cult film and has received generally positive reviews.

The young Paul suffers a strange dream one night in which the image of his mother falling in love with a dangerous man intermingles with the ghostly vision of his father's death in a car accident. Strange Illusion is a 1945 film noir crime film directed by Edgar G. Ulmer and starring Jimmy Lydon, Warren William and Sally Eilers. According to noir historian Spencer Selby the film is "a stylish cheapie by the recognized master of stylish cheapies.
Paul, a young man whose father was once lieutenant Governor of California before his untimely death, has a strange, recurring dream in which his mother falls in love with a dangerous man (Brett Curtis), a dream which also contains the image of his father's death in an automobile accident under mysterious circumstances.
Through the help of his friend, a psychiatrist, Paul realizes that his dream is coming true, and that his mother is falling under Curtis's influence. Curtis, in fact, is a homicidal maniac who lives as an out-patient at the sanitarium of the unscrupulous Dr. Muhlbach. When Curtis makes an attempt to marry Paul's mother, Paul intervenes, and after a series of events discovers the truth behind his dreams.

A crazed scientist invents an invisibility formula. He plans to use the formula to create an army of invisible zombies.
The Amazing Transparent Man is a 1960 science fiction film starring Marguerite Chapman. It is an American B-movie which follows the story of an insane ex–U.S. Army major who uses an escaped criminal to steal materials to improve the invisibility machine his scientist prisoner made.
It was one of two sci-fi films shot back-to-back in Dallas, Texas by director Edgar G. Ulmer (the other being Beyond the Time Barrier, also released in that same year). The combined filming schedule for both films was only two weeks. The film was later featured in an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

At War with the Army is a 1950 American musical comedy film directed by Hal Walker and starring the comedy team of Martin and Lewis and introducing Polly Bergen. Filmed from July through August 1949, the film premiered in San Francisco on New Year's Eve 1950 and was released nationally in the United States on January 17, 1951, by Paramount. It was re-released in 1958 by OMAT Pictures.
Although filmed before My Friend Irma Goes West (1950), it was held back until the sequel to Martin and Lewis' smash film debut My Friend Irma (1949) was released.

Divorceé Marian Morgan (Compson) hires a male escort Count DeHoven (Willy Castello), who has an affair with her teenage daughter, Mary (Ainslee).
After her wild parties, with jitterbugs and strip poker, Helen's grandmother (Fealy), locks her out of the house, and she runs away to marry a man she met through correspondence.
Marian gets fed up with her daughter and her friends. She laments that she never got to be young, and free, like they are; and, tells her daughter to go live with her father for a while. Mary doesn't get along with his new wife; so, she decides to go visit Helen, after getting a letter, from her.
The "Count" is furious with Marian, for letting her daughter traipse across the country, without knowing who she is with; and, warns her that mail-order marriage scams can be one of the worst traps there is. Together they track down an address, and he hurries to try to save Mary and Helen (Atkinson).
The girls have been imprisoned in a prostitution and white slavery ring, in a big old mansion. It was all a ruse; and, Helen was beaten until she gave in, and wrote to send for her friend.
Time is running out. It looks like there's going to be a fight, if the “Count” is going to save Mary, and marry her, before she disappears into the underworld, forever.
Mad Youth is a 1940 American film directed by Melville Shyer. The film is also known as Girls of the Underworld (American reissue title).

On 03 March 1692, in Whitewood, Massachusetts, the witch Elizabeth Selwyn (Patricia Jessel) is sentenced to be burned at the stake, and her partner Jethrow Keane (Valentibe Dyall) asks Lúcifer to save her. About three hundred years later, the college student Nan Barlow (Venetia Stephenson) decides to spend her vacation in the town to research witchcraft.
Her professor Alan Driscoll (Christopher Lee) suggests Nan to lodge in the Ravens Inn, managed by Mrs. Newless. Once in the village, the naive Nan is advised by the local priest, Reverend Russell (Norman Macowan), to immediately leave the place, where devil has ruled over for three hundred years, but she decides to stay and find that she is in a coven of evil witches.
Nan vanishes, and the granddaughter of Reverend Russell, Patricia Russell (Betta St. John), pays a visit to Nan's skeptical brother, Richard Barlow (Dennis Lotis), and her boyfriend Bill Maitland (Tom), and they decide to follow her steps.

The City of the Dead (U.S. title: Horror Hotel) is a 1960 supernatural horror film directed by John Llewellyn Moxey and starring Christopher Lee, Venetia Stevenson, Betta St. John, Patricia Jessel and Valentine Dyall.
The film marks the directorial debut of Moxey. It was produced in the United Kingdom but set in America, and the British actors were required to speak with North American accents throughout.

After antagonizing a Caucasian male, three black men: Raymond Moffat, Junior Moffat and Ned Tiese go on the run; join the army; fight Vietnamese; make dough selling dope; and return home to Kincaid County. They decide to assist oppressed citizens to be more assertive, and with the preacher's help, get them registered to vote.
This does not auger well with minority Caucasians - who feel threatened, put on Ku Klux Klan hoods, amidst signs to 'Fight Communist and Intergration' and launch an all-out attack with impunity.
Things get even more complicated when a black woman is sexually molested, a black male is blamed, and the Sheriff is shot dead, leaving corrupt lawmen and heavily armed Klansmen free to slay whoever dares to oppose them.
Brotherhood of Death is a low-budget 1976 action film in the blaxploitation genre, directed by Richard F. Barker and Bill Berry, and starring Roy Jefferson, Le Tari, and Haskell Anderson. The film featured appearances by several members, including Jefferson, of the Washington Redskins professional football team of the National Football League.

The college-educated son of a tyrannical industrialist collides with his father over matters of ethics, honesty and empathy regarding the handling of his companies and the treatment of his workers.
Man of Conflict is a 1953 American film starring John Agar and Edward Arnold.
Ray (John Agar) has been off to college for several years and has finally returned to his home town. His finding a job is not going to be a problem, as his father, J.R. Compton (Edward Arnold) owns the huge factory that employs most everyone in town. However, Ray does not want an executive position...he wants to be trained as a machinist and work his way up in the company in order to learn what he's one day expected to run himself.
While his father isn't thrilled by the idea, he agrees. Ray tells no one who he is and grows to love his job. Unfortunately, when folks do learn who he is, there is lots of resentment...as J.R. is a hated despot. J.R.'s way of running the company is making his employees fear him...and Ray plans on undoing as much as he can of this and building good will with the employees. As a result, the father and son come into conflict with each other and something has to give...though J.R. is a very hard and inflexible man.
