If you're a quiet, dorky kid who has trouble fitting in at school, it's super motivating when being able to draw Pidgey on your science duotang makes you suddenly popular. Later of course, I started taking art more seriously than just for popularity, but Pokemon has always stuck with me like a smoking addiction. I still play all the games, and yes I have a binder of now-rare first gen cards I'm adding to. This is one of 3 legendary birds in the first gen: Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres. I'm on #teaminstinct for Pokemon GO so obviously started with this one.
